My Japanese and Chinese songs also show funny symbols.

Mine show perfect chinese words ~ not sure bout japanese and korean word =X

hi guys, whenever i want to update the software, they always mentioned we need to back up our data. how do we do that actually?

coz, it seems that i've lost a few contact number which consists of emails too. please guide me to all sifus.

To back up ur data,
Please ensure ur comp/laptop have PC Suite installed in ur comp/laptop.
Under the software, on your left panel there is Backup and Restore
In-screen instruction will guide you =) it's very easy.

PC suite need to be download from SE site if CD is not given.

i hate one thing... previously my messages save in memory card inbox..one day i go and unplug the memory card to inset to card reader but then all the message gone...really give it a damn... Anyone got this problem before??

Maybe you accidentally touched the folder storing the messages?

Maybe is ur reader problem. Last time I use this reader, my memory card duplicate the pictures and having problem copying the files then later all my files gone just like that ~ but there is also have the possibilities of ur memory card fault.

i see that you are the type who rarely backup the phone.
In that case i suggest you use MyPhoneExplorer. it will do more than your sony pcsuite. when viewing any item in your phone it will also store up cache in the computer. so even though you rarely backup, the program will store the message automatically.

for those who have plenty of picture, synchronizing pictures are fast when using this program.
