Be prepared for the tournament as so far there is still no Arcade Sticks from Sony. Unless someone good enough to loan us for both days. I assure we will give you some goodies...

Otherwise, if we cant loan any...we have to use DS3.

Hope all understand that this is a Sony event and company policy is not allow their marketing people to purchase third party equipments.

we at Outpost really wanted to sponsor the Joysticks, however, hoping for miracle from RAWfish to get us 2.

Guys - BRING YOUR OWN STICKS and please take care of your belongings e.g. bring a bag to safekeep it and for convenience. It'll be at Malaysia's first Games and Gadgets 2009 expo which I think is like the E3 and CES in US (Electronic Entertainment Expo, Consumer Electronics Show), plus it's the final weekend of the school hols - could get very packed!

Sony will provide no sticks and there will be a setup for 2 machines. Winner stays, loser re-queues. No knock-outs. RM10 buffet... eat all you can. So it's meant to be a fast event.

Nevertheless there's gonna be players who prefer pad and stick so if a weapon switch is really needed let's make it FAST (e.g. memorize your preferred button settings) so the queue moves faster.

To those loaning sticks, please be mindful to at least take good care of it e.g. not to mash excessively hard (this game, mashing doesn't work out of throws... and if you are dizzy the opponent will already be jumping in / charging focus to combo you). DO take out your watch/ring/accessories as to not cause scratches on the stick/buttons.

I really don't mind loaning to LYN-ers who really do not have sticks at home... I'm just worried about the outsiders So for those people I hope a HORI Tekken 4 will do. So remember to bring just in case it's needed.

Alan: off-topic.. if they're gonna show off those big-ass HDTVs / LEDs.. would they like Final Fantasy VII AC? I just got mine in the mail.

You could borrow a stick but depending on the turnout, might be tricky to coordinate that.

It would kinda be pointless since ive been playing only on a d3 so lol id be a complete punching bag with a stick .. at least i think i would lol..

Haha, if you're used to the DS3 just come and play with the default controller then. Need more pad warriors anyway.

Where did you get that idea from? Sony provides the DS3 so you don't have to worry. Those who prefer to play on sticks like me are encouraged to bring it.

Lol just came back from there ... we were Forced to use arcade sticks la ... after 3 losses i got tired alrdy bcuz i was a complete sitting duck .. found it difficult to even pull out special moves let alone super and ultra...
