QUOTE(zx7177 @ Apr 2 2009, 05:57 PM) i think what he meant was that batteries of today wouldnt allow the 'true mobile entertainment system experience' because the current battery capacities would only allow for a short period of entertainment usage before running out of charge if talking about future battery, there is no need to worry wireless charging is on the way... give it another 10years

ya...i would hope that day will come..imagine a laptop battery in the size of N82's current battery..if that's so,mobile phone can go without charging for months(maybe some already lost their charger cos seldom use...lol), and laptop can also use one full day, wow, such a nice world

IMHO battery technology would greatly advance due to all these battery powered vehicle thing that they're coming up with now, and it would help develop better batteries for other uses as well. only problem is that, future phones may need more energy as well, hence negating the gains of these better batteries

ya, that's why i am hoping for phone capacity size can beat the issue of phones getting more and more power consuming

Yeah... i agree with both of you. i hope i can see the day that wireless charging is implemented widely.
btw, there's another problem to the issue, the high cost of implementation of these techs in phones laptops...etc..

SDXC will go into mobile devices in future, and that includes cameras, videocam, and h/p. Next generation h/p will be at least Full HD @720p, bigger screen, touch screen, etc. Anyway, battery is still the biggest hurdle in technology. Processor, Memory, screen display, wireless technology, etc. all have advances many times, but battery is still lagging behind very far. Do you know how old already is Li-Ion or Li-Polymer technology and we are still using it today mainly ?

ya, battery is the main drawback, look at samsung omnia HD, can record in HD, but due to the massive processing, review site say the battery drained to empty in 30mins in recording HD...

Try to make the clip on the battery closer so that when slot into the phone, they make good contact.

If there are cases of Li-Ion exploding on notebook PC and h/p, imagine if a fuel-cell h/p blow up Or put under hot sun, which you may not be aware. e.g. Driving and put onto the h/p holder stuck to windscreen. You want to a longer battery life at that risk ?
