If your used to big keypads it may take some time for you to adjust.

For big fingers alike, then i suggest you should consider on a different type of phone.

put it this way, the higher class mem card would make transferring data into your mem card through a card reader faster

but your phone would most probably only be able to transfer 2MB/s in or out of the mem card, so the speed at which you open files in your phone wouldnt be any faster

It will not make much difference in your phone.

The real advantage of high speed cards is when used with card readers. High speed cards = high speed file transfers between your memory card and your computer.

Do take note that not all card readers support every speed class. Read their specs.

Ok, thanks for all feedbacks. Really appreciate it nod.gif

Same thing which troubled me when I was considering this phone. But no regrets at all. Once you're use to it u can even type without looking at the keypad (even with such tiny keys).

Oh and guys I need an opinion. The camera shutter serves well as a form of protection of the camera lens. However after some time dust seems to collect in the space around the lens. Really hate this......... sweat.gif

well.. maybe vacuum it.. just givin out ideas..

i like phones without the manual cover because faster to take pictures (no need to open cover first) and easier to clean because it's quite flat like n95 8gb. but need to take care because it is much easier to be scratched.

n82 on the other hand has protection from scratching which is really good but it does collect dust in the cover. both got it's pros and cons.

Yea same goes to screens which are flush with the face of the housing. Once in awhile I use a camera lens blower to blow out the dust but after 2 days or so the dust starts to buildup again..... Zzzz

Try to make sure no apps are allowed to run in the background and that you exit them properly (hold the menu key to display minimized apps) and try setting network mode to GSM mode only if you are not using 3G. Seems to improve a little on my part.

so fast collect dust? u always leave ur lens open?
or u always take pix?

another way to save a bit more battery is to lower down the brightness of the screen and the light sensitivity

bigger fingers will have some prob in adapting to it
but i personally prefer keypads with seperated buttons
like n82 and w810i etc etc
ezier to sms
but in the end, it all comes to adaptation
once u adapted..touchscreen oso no prob

No man. Well not recently at least. My camera slider died on me sweat.gif
In the UK at the moment. Probably coz the air here isn't as humid as Msia so the dust buildup is faster whistling.gif

just go fix the camera cover laa..

improve battery life:

1. update firmware
2. lower lcd brightness
3. use GSM only mode
4. if want to use garminXT use the latest one with options to turn off it's background apps.

u can get a 2nd battery or take with you a car phone charger

latest garmin it 5.4 and the background app can be shut down in the options in garminXT

the problem is with the older 5.3 which has that cardrunner.dll running another file tsrautostart.exe in the background which really sucks batt life..seriously.

some say that even deleting that cannot work because when they run it once it always runs again and need to restart phone.. a hassle.. so just install the new 5.4.

about this issue , last time i had a software , forgotten the name ..
it suck up my battery to dry within 1 day ... i din't noticed that it's auto-run in the background ...
so the problem solved after i uninstalled it ..

So, seriously check out some software that consume alot of juices ...

Try out [Nokia Energy Profiler] ..
u can try to open some softwares and check either it consume alot of battery or not ...

Action that consume alot of power (according to my experiance) :
- Using camera flash all the time
- high brightness of the screen
- "stupid" software running at the background

P/S : Any other software that can customize phone ? Kinda bored of the current softwares in it ...
