QUOTE(blinky @ Feb 16 2009, 11:08 AM) Guys, do you know how to set up Outlook Express email on the phone without using a 3rd party application? OE is just a mail client. It depends on your work email is using what server. POP or IMAP (MSExchange). The process of setting up the work email is similiar to setting up Gmail in N82 messaging/email, but just different type of server.I remembered doing it on my Nokia N95 solely using the proprietary email in the phone, but now I don't remember how! Outlook Express (work email), not Gmail, I already have Gmail in the phone. Thanks in advance! I got both my gmail and work email setup also. Added on February 16, 2009, 1:44 pm QUOTE(asdzxc @ Feb 16 2009, 01:22 PM) Your question is too vague. It is like asking what is a good choice of subject to study in college/uni. Tell us what you want to do ? Games/Work ? What type of software apps ? You can refer pg.1 of all compiled list that are recommended for N82 users. QUOTE(asdzxc @ Feb 16 2009, 01:22 PM) also is 8gb class 6 available in the market yet ? or the max is class 4 ? and how much does class 4/6 cost about ? Yes, 8GB SDHC Class 6 for about RM75-80someone introduced me to a "Ultra" class for the fastest type of MICRO SDHC, anyone got any idea? thanks 16GB SDHC Class 2 only so far. I think the Ultra micro-SDHC is referring to high-speed read/write access, which is basically a Class 4 or 6 instead of normal Class 2. LED produce glare or xenon flash can eliminate the glare? I think he used default settings. N96 seems to have blue/green *what you call it* effect. QUOTE(jhulencherag @ Feb 17 2009, 12:18 PM) hey guys, just like to enquire If your unit is authorised set, and you plan to use it for at least 1-3 more years, I suggest to goto original nokia centre. Ask them to escalate the case when go spare parts and the cost. Can you suggest me any ap service centres of hp's shops that can replace my n82 motherboard and what kind of pricing do they charge? It's starting to give me problems such as hanging and sometimes it just turns off by itself..the asia pacific centre said it's a mobo problem n my nokia n82 is out of warranty..but they also didn't have the spare part so yeah.. do let me know guys thanks cheers I don't really recommended outside, unless those you can really trust. There are many rumours about they swap your other original workings parts while fixing your problem. Added on February 17, 2009, 1:26 pm QUOTE(keneshiro7 @ Feb 17 2009, 12:43 PM) hEllo everyone..i'm n82 Black owner also I think AgileMessenger is no more freeware. May i know, where can get "AgileMessenger 3.86 - MSN Messenger" ..i'm interested this software.. Added on February 17, 2009, 1:28 pm QUOTE(alpha_mid @ Feb 17 2009, 01:13 PM) dunno why its still auto search for WLAN, anyway anyone can clearly detail us what is special about V31 ? do we need to uninstall all software tat installed inside ? No need. N82 has UDP (User Data Preservation?). However, it is still recommended to backup the phone memory using N82 or PC Suite backup. This post has been edited by cute_boboi: Feb 17 2009, 01:28 PM |

For me, in Messaging (SMS), I have to press and hold #, then press the D-pad up/down to Mark multiple SMS.

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Feb 18 2009, 12:37 PM) oh i got a question..how do i mark pictures or mp3 that's in my inbox (received from bluetooth) and then put them in a folder inside my memory card and not the folders inside messages. 1) Either set your Messaging to use Memory Card, or2) Open and manual save the BT-SMS as images into your Memory Card. Then delete the BT-SMS. |

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Feb 18 2009, 12:43 PM) 1. i already set the messaging to use memory card but the prob is that i want to move the files to certain folders inside the memory card and not inside the "messaging" folders. I think have to save one by one. No option to save all at once, even though highlighted. I've encounter before with 10+ BT over images.2. the problem with this is if i have 50+ pictures it would be such a hassle to save it one by one.. can i save it to the memory card if i select all? i think not |

QUOTE(yip_man @ Feb 20 2009, 06:51 PM) Becareful with the memory card cover, dont turn it too much, lots of user broken it before becasue pull and turn too much... I only lift the cover 90º angle and pull out. Added on February 20, 2009, 7:00 pm QUOTE(David900924 @ Feb 20 2009, 06:59 PM) ya, i will wait my fingernail longer 1st then i try to pull the card out, lol. mostly i juz use usb transfer, lazy to pull off n push in later my card will get scratch till ugly. USB transfer using N82 is slower than taking out the memory card and plug into USB card reader. This post has been edited by cute_boboi: Feb 20 2009, 07:00 PM |
