not really..mine, i notice, when i press # and move left and right, it will mark..
i press again, it will unmark..and in this condition, when i press the "ok" button(middle of the 5 direction pad), it will switch from marked to unmark, or the other way...if i wanna open the file, i have to press #+OK button... anyone having same problem like mine?? i would be happy if anyone here can teach me how to set back to be just like n81 |

ok..let me get this into detail..i tried this in file manager, x-plore, gallery, message...
after pressing # once, the phone will go into this "marking mode", where item i scroll through will be marked, and pressing the OK button or # again, it will be switch to "unmark mode", where when i scroll through marked item, it will be unmarked...then, you know we open files with OK button, but in this condition, i'll have to hit #+OK button to open the file..such condition even occur in the option menu after i press # button in apps i mentioned above..dunno why is that..maybe setting error, or i need to soft reset.. Added on February 18, 2009, 12:47 amoh ya..anyone skinned their n82 here?? just skinned yesterday, but i notice the screen colour now looks funny now due to the uneven surface of the phone skin..is it suppose to be like this and it will be gone after a few days? oh..N81 # key works different...to mark current item, press # and OK button, and to mark multiple item, you need to press # and scroll through the items you want to mark..
so that means my N82 # button works just like the rest of you all?? |

sorry to bring the # issue again..just got another question to ask...
after we press #, the "shift" is set to on, which means we move around items to mark it..but how to turn it off in messaging app? cos after changing language, move left and right, it will still mark words that i have typed, and that's annoying..if i press # and directional button, the input language will be changed..is there any possible work around to prevent this kind of stuff? anyway... time to save money for our next phone that is most likely coming out 2 more years... http://www.symbian-freak.com/news/009/02/t...core_OMAP_4.htm This post has been edited by BBXiong: Feb 18 2009, 09:38 PM |

no worries...i dropped my N81 from elbow height with some momentum, battery cover and battery flew out as it landed, it still works..since N82 is lighter, and from what i noticed, better built, it should be ok
