I wish the Xigmatek's CPU Cooler base are thick like others,so it can easily be lapped without anything to worry.

Well,i will try to lap the xigmatek later and post up the pictures.But i can't do the temp etc because my rig is not completed yet.

guys.. my bro lapped his e6600... after done it.. he try to power up his pc.. its on,but monitor just blinking.. is it bcause he lapped too much? lol..

p/s : if this is in wrong section,pls tell.. i will edit.. ty..

things not pluged in properly will cause that...

where i can get all metal polish??... i want to apply it to my waterblock and mobo heat sink...

if ur waterblock is oxydixed i would suggest mayb u immersed it into coke??mayb it works..haha..suggestion oni ya...as u might nt able to lap some part..

guys,ive just lapped my Q6600 and my heatsink(xigmatek) and just wondering,although ive lapped my Q6600 to mirror finish but the scratches are still visible.Does it need more lapping?maybe with 2000 grit sand paper?because i was using 320>600>1000>1500.

metal polish have grade also isit? so have to do from what grade first? 1.0/0.3/0.05?

yup..autosol good ar..

lapped my true.. at 1st,the temp drop to 38 from 43.. around 5c drop.. no the temp get back to 42..again.. haiz.. putus asa suda..
