Few Noob question would like to ask:
1. Avoid CPU to touch water during lapping?
2. Does it really can decrease a lot of temperature?
3. After lapping still need to put thermal paste?
4. Would it ruined the warranty of Processor?
*
1.Why would you lapped the CPU in the first place? Better quality heatsink + Deltas 200cfm should be easier...
2.As far as I read before, not that much...pretty much useless...IF 5c better change to a more powerful fan
3.With or without lapping, thermal paste is a must...in micro terms, your CPU IHS and base surface of your cooler wouldn't be perfectly in-contact flat, so you need a pinch of paste to fill in the gap...
4.Definitely laugh.gif
