1 stupid question here..

will it dmg my proc if i overdo the lapping?

in my imagination,when we overdo it, we can the chipset.. o.0 i dont think so rite?

yesterday juz lap my proc.. c2d e6550(4 months age biggrin.gif ).. the result,hmm.. im just 80% satisfied with it.. here's some pictar and result..

IcEMoCHa, nope.. i did not.. my sifu(my cousin) said,the TR alrdy flat and mirror.. so,no need.. we also very2 lazy to do it.. cuz a lot more things to do that day.. maybe next time biggrin.gif

anyway,we didnt do it.. at 1st i suggest it.. but,after we discussed.. its hard to mount,demount,and mount again.. waste thermal paste also cuz i only bought 1 tuniq tx-2.. 1/2 for cpu,1/2 gc.. smile.gif

guys.. my bro lapped his e6600... after done it.. he try to power up his pc.. its on,but monitor just blinking.. is it bcause he lapped too much? lol..

sorry guys.. its not about the proc that he lapped.. its about his cap ayam msi mobo...

sorry my mistake.. panic cuz my bro pc cant on..


EDIT : forgot to tell the result... from 60c idle,after lapped,goes down to 49.. rclxms.gif he is using TT blue orb smile.gif

lapped my true.. at 1st,the temp drop to 38 from 43.. around 5c drop.. no the temp get back to 42..again.. haiz.. putus asa suda.. cry.gif
