Sometimes a company will sell a product for a loss. Logic? there is fixed cost and variable cost. In theory, during bad times (utilization very low), as long as product cost is more than variable cost, it is worth doing it. Else, the company will inccur more losses. That's what really happening in semiconductor industry nowadays...

If that's the case, maybe they already take the contract, but the buying is later. This could be also another reason. I don't think a company is so dumb to run for a loss (only run to reduce loses, I understand).

I did studied about Huaan and found it not suitable for me. So, it wasn't a share in my watchlist. However, if the price keep dropping until certain level, I might relook it.
PS: High risk, high gain. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow... If we know, I'll buy low sell high.
So, my method is buy when I see the stock is worth the value. Again, no right or wrong. Maybe 5yrs later we benchmark our archivement.  S'pore stock up and down more drastic than ours. Just bought 2 counters this week, and the price already drop more than 5%.. Hmm... Seems like Uchitec not really hurt (just some bruise) by the economy downturn... Earning still ok... Will monitor it!

Anyone read Zelan Q3 report (get from Bursa website)? It gives me a very bad feeling...

Very good info. I don't know about it. Long time ago, I get rights, but the price drop so much until the rights become not attractive...
