saito wasn't looking for fishers secret, (he already knew how cobb could enter into a subconsious mind & incept) & his (saito) intention was to incept an idea to fisher that he should break up his father's empire. in such in the corporate world at least saito can then compete against.

fisher has not secret' secret 'vault'; the whole bloody movie sub-plot by cobb & gang was to incept an idea to fisher (to think 'breaking up' his father's empire would then be his father's dying wishes to see him be his own man) In fisher's reality world, he was a disappointment to his dying father.

there are many sub stories/layers/plot that i know movie goers will


just pay attention & one shouldn't lose focus. its not really hard to decipher the movie 'inception', well, some guys/gals just has 'science' subjects in school or even sci-fi stuffs.

nolan did say it was "what if" we could push the creativity of inception into dreams.

I do, but I can't remember when was the last time I stumbled about those concepts after I got a job (darn need to get reading and lesser on my gaming time. ).

But yeah, Freud's interpretation is pretty much, interpretation. Its not a real answer though sadly. because research never stops. I dream, but not most of the time (which normally gives me a fantastic night of sleeping. ;P), and I always feel frustrated the dream has ended.

U dun have to question its good or bad. Just, try and experience it. Its where you alter ego can let loose.

Well, I guess the subconcious is only as ridiculous as a man getting spider powers after being bitten by a spider, or a man building a robot suit, flying around getting hit by mortar shells and not dying from concussion. I mean, yeah, surely, they're all ridiculous, right?

The only reason why they left behind 1 person on each level is because they needed that person to protect the dreamers from the self defence mechanisms. E.g. Yusuf driving the van to protect them, Arthur fighting in rolling gravity, etc.

Ahhh .. but that distortion field has a weak point that can easily be overcome by using the death grip on it.

I believe he got back to reality. But then again, this is the kind of ending where the viewer is invited to draw their own conclusions. So you can tembak your own belief right there.

I think I understand why you don't like the movie. It seems that you missed out a lot of very important details. I don't blame you. It is very hard to keep track of all these details, but if you manage to achieve that, the movie is really rewarding.

Basically, Saito wasn't looking for his rival's secrets. He was trying to brainwash Fisher into breaking the company apart. In order to do that, they needed to convince Fisher that this was his own idea - inception. They used 4 levels of dreams to achieve this. The vault was a trick they used to convince Fisher his father wanted him to break the company apart. Actually this was Eame's dream. Not the godfather's dream.

Well, that's why you didn't like it. You weren't paying attention.

I suggest that next time you go to the movies, forget the popcorn, go pee beforehand, switch off your phone, don't talk, and watch a movie like it's meant to be watched.

It was brillian btw. I thought, how will you plant an idea to a person and convince him of that. Of course, by using emotional persuasion. Making use of Robert Junior regret of not living up to his father expectation and the final secret in the safe which I think is what Robert Junior desire and wanted all along, his father approval & acceptance. If you think about it, its morally wrong to toy with a person emotion...and the audience seems to lap on it hehehe

I love how twisted, mix n match, cranky, confusing, heavy, tripped, hamma vamma, mind**** the movie is!

She's the architect. She helped design the layouts for the dreams, before they entered.

They also needed the numbers.

She's the only person who knows about Cobb's problems and can help him cope with it.

FYI, she wasn't supposed to join in the actual mission. Just help design the layouts.

If the movie take out the CGI, car chase & action scenes, for some critics they will probably rate it higher. Now that's pretentious!

For a Hollywood summer blockbuster, these are needed to pacify the summer crowd.

You can go for an arthouse movie to watch people filming orange peel or decay over a year....that is also art movie or some Wong Kar Wai in the Mood for love or Woody Allen New York New York.

INCEPTION is a awesome awesome awesome movieeeeee!!!!!! but i can't help but to give credit to The Matrix, without that movie, lots of movies won't be possible....

anyways Inception is great!!!!!!
