redscorpion, sadly no real easy way la. Most of us are using this thing called "Staindevil" to peel, but it still leaves glue residue, and its not easy even with the use of the liquid.

Would recommend to put replacement patch on top of the spot to cover up.

If you guys are interested to try.. let me share the 'secret formula' that the folks in My-FJC has been talking about..

It is called Carbora Staindevils and here's how it looks like:

Where did we bought it?

http://www.amazon.com/Carbona-Devils-Chewi...7165372&sr=8-17

Someone found another similar item sold locally at Cold Storage. Not 100% sure if it's the same stuff since it's not branded under Carbora:

Sold for RM11.49 at cold storage.

How to remove it.. terbalikkan your jersey.. put a lot of the solution onto a plate. Then damp the area where the patch sits on the plate.. leave it for 10 minutes.. then use a blunt object and try harshly to remove it...

Good luck mate!

First question, why do you want to peel it off?

You want to replace it with another one? You got a fake patch?

Doing so will ruin the jersey's surface. There will be glue residue left on it....

If you want to replace it with another one.. then no problem. But why doing it?

Is it because it is smaller (replica size)? Then why bother doing it.. it is still authentic if it is authentic...

say no to fakes la.. hehe. i bought the player size from R1 last time.

my patch is ruined. im not sure how it got cracked. so im thinking of peeling it off and putting a new one. and im sure i wont be wearing it as many as i do now laugh.gif

Before you remove it, take a photo first so I can understand what happened to it...

And you're lucky because it's the EPL champions badge. Why? because for the 06/07 Champions and 07/08 champions badge.. it only has glue on the outlines only because on the center is a big piece of gold woven material that has no glue beneath it.

Dude, all your questions can be answered if you bothered to read the first page. Instead of others feeding you, why not call them up directly? Its not that hard surely?
*
Dude, before I posted those questions earlier, I did read the first page and i did call up both of the shops, twice. Surprisingly, nobody picked up. That's why i opted to ask the forummers in this thread. Now, i would appreciate it if someone nice could 'feed' me.

think i'll go cold storage at tropicana mall look for it.
any idea if it can remove sponsor logo? cos mine is peeling off and not possible to iron back on also, plus its cracking abit.

also ur method...meaning pour the liquid onto a plate, and then dip the area of the patch into the plate?

Well it is surprising that they didn't pick up because I pasted more than 1 number for the BB plaza office.. You could just try calling other branches and confirm if the number I pasted is correct or not.

To answer your question again:

Where did u see it? How much? smile.gif
anyways, has anyone been to BB Plaza recently? if yes, are the UCL patches and NNs for Man Utd 3rd kit still available at Al-Ikhsan or Real One? Might be going there this weekend. Thanksss.
*
The UCL patches are still available from my last visit. But not sure if they are still there.. or if there are some UCL NNs left..

Yup.. can also try using this method to remove PU sponsors. I believe yours is the liverpool kit right? It should work (hopefully) because it is meant to remove glue (if you read carefully what it says it can do on the label).

Good luck trying!

i think the 1 you bought is more for glue that its on the surface rather then a patch were the glue is inbetween the patch and the shirt

I just bought a new jersey with lextra NN, am soaking them right now. So the idea is to handwash them and put them in the spinner to dry, and hang them indoors right?

Are you saying that you just applied the NN on the jersey? I hope you haven't just applied it, cos you're not supposed to wash the jersey for at least 3 days after the application.

Plus I don't think you need to soak your jerseys, just rinse them through.

Nah, applied it last Sat. It's ok to use washing machine for spinning?

You shouldn't soak your jersey. Why must soak them?

Just handwash them, no need to soak. Then spin dry and you can iron them.. be careful when ironing them.. because you might ruin the printed sponsors or namesets. Always set to medium heat (2 dots) on the iron and iron them inside out (terbalikkan dahulu jersi then iron them..)

It is not a rule of thumb to do it, but it is one of jerseyman's petua to enhance the lifespan of your jerseys.. It helps bond the glue of the printed sponsors (PU) or namesets (lextra or pu).. So later you won't have namesets that peels off easily and cracked sponsors (don't hang them outside beneath the sun.. if have to, must terbalikkan jersey first).

Yup.. the rule says that you shouldn't wash your jersey after you've applied the namesets.. lextra or PU. But don't worry, it shouldn't effect them, as long as you iron them afterwards (spin dry them and the iron beneath the namesets.. terbalikkan jersi first).

To tell you the truth, I ignore the instructions of not washing your jerseys after applying namesets.. because I want to strengthen the bond of the printed namesets by ironing them inside out while they are still slightly damp (after spin dry)... No need to follow my way so it is advisable to follow what is instructed.

I just ironed my lextra NN, and it looks like it's growing "little pimples" throughout one side of the numbering (i've followed jerseyman's method). is it ok like that?

side note, actually which kind of NN is better? lextra or PU?

Well, meaning to say you have ironed the NNs part too long at one time or your iron setting is hotter than the recommended.

My remedy for this is move the iron, do not let it static on any part of the kit especially the NNs part. And also after like 3-5 minutes of non stop ironing, flap the kit over to let the heat dissipates then continue iron the kit again until you feel satisfied.

I think maybe because it is still new.. it's ok.. ironing them should solve it and it will make them smooth..

Lextra is definitely better.. More robust and bigger in size. PU is more delicate, can crack easily and if you are sitting on a leather chair.. beware.

Thanks a lot, but without you sharing it, I guessed my NNs will be either 'kedut' or 'cracked'. And first I do not dare to iron my kits at all as I am so afraid the kit will be accidently 'degraded'. Now I am one of the happy and proud owner of all my lovely kits.

And nothing beats the feeling of seeing your nicely clean ironed jerseys hanging in your room with your heroes's name right? The same reason why I like washing them, then spin drying them and finally ironing them...

the dr beckmann on the right side apparently is just carbona renamed.
but the ultimate stain devil that was mentioned earlier on the left is made by the same company as the dr beckmann anyway.
