This lag has always been around in S60 phones...it isn't that bad.
It's more like half a second more than starting a new message. For better results, it's better to leave messages in phone memory, and backup with PC suite once in a while. Theme effect adds to the delay, but theme effects adds to delay to everything, so that's not really a factor. Beauty or function is up to the user. The new firmware only adds more support for some extra carriers (telcos), so basically it's the same firmware...no need to upgrade.Rojak, you mean store sms in phone memory? I do realize on my N82, lag is much more apparent when I store sms in my memory card.Rojak, you mean store sms in phone memory? QUOTE(5zigen @ Feb 5 2009, 06:57 PM) Guys, wanna know if you guys experience lagness when you press sms reply button? After press reply, the new sms screen only come out after 2 second. It doesn't lag if straight away press the create new message. I face lag when typing messages. Not entering messaging mode. All i do is juz change theme. Some theme make the typing of sms slower and laggy. Try changing the theme. Mayb it hold true for u ? Original theme would b the best to try |
