This lag has always been around in S60 phones...it isn't that bad.

It's more like half a second more than starting a new message. For better results, it's better to leave messages in phone memory, and backup with PC suite once in a while.

Theme effect adds to the delay, but theme effects adds to delay to everything, so that's not really a factor. Beauty or function is up to the user.

I do realize on my N82, lag is much more apparent when I store sms in my memory card.

If i use phone memory, it goes very fast.

Okie, will put all sms in phone memory then... i hate lag phone.

do u store in memory card if so u need to change to phone memory and if u still experience laggyness u maybe want to try my method. working for me though but who knows it work on your tube also ,mine got 300+ sms havent del them yet.
here's the step again.. press the power button(button where u press when u want to off your phone) -> select the option where it say remove E : memory card -> yes -> ok(after it finish closing all the apps) -> now u may open the inbox and type sms hope there are no more laggyness..

I face lag when typing messages. Not entering messaging mode. All i do is juz change theme. Some theme make the typing of sms slower and laggy. Try changing the theme. Mayb it hold true for u ? Original theme would b the best to try

erm.. tried that method, but still lag if i press "reply" button. Now put sms in phone memory, press reply and new sms screen show up is faster already

Wanna ask something, where is the sensor? Near the front camera rite??
But when I cover the sensor part, the screen did not turn darker
Need to go to NCC to check?

It only show its effect when you making phone call.

i planning to get 1 soon... but heard lot of complain in forum... decided to buy it 1 month ltr... izit a smart decision???

erm, i think you should get it, why not? there is almost 250 registered owner already, regarding the problems, there is some solution on the 1st page, and you can always send to Nokia Care Centre if there's any problems, cheers

how about taking the pic of the back cover,btw does it come with lens protector?
