the best is mp4 dont go convert to Xvid or H264

Added on February 2, 2009, 2:50 ami notice the 5800 got this problem when a call comes in and i answer i cant directly activate the loudspeaker need use menu button to go to dialer to activate it.
*
they're all mp4, xvid/h264 is the video codec used.

5800 supports both xvid/h264 in a mp4 container format, but for h264 it supports a much lower video res...around 300+x200+

for xvid/divx in mp4 you can go up to 640x480....maybe higher.

bro, what's the msn client that allows webcam streaming on a mobile? biggrin.gif

i already post it in v6 thread.

Support doesnt mean better.  happy.gif i am using ipod mp4 format no lag very smooth

agile cannot support direct streaming...only record and send as file.

we've played around with the settings a lot, so quality very important. ipod resolution a lot lower than 5800. smile.gif

really looking forward to your demo....been waiting for a version of msn client that allows live video streaming from the front cam....record and send is not considered live at all.

if they can do it on s60v3 then won't be long for our 5800. biggrin.gif

anyone got the invisible shield already?
looks like it's not suitable for 5800

QUOTE
Now that i had the protector on for a day it actually will go off.
The lack of usabillity is the main reason for it. There is a rubbery feel to it and when browsing around in playlists and on the web its not as smooth as without it. It´s also harder to click the screen with the shield on. Despite it´s thin material it requires som extra pressure for it to work and now when i got used to just a tiny bit of pressure its just annoying to relearn. Just have to take extra care of the screen and gently wipe it with the microfibre cloth that i got.

sweat.gif  fingernail on tube? i just use my finger not nail to touch tube. tube likca touch bomb to me.  laugh.gif  . how screen look under sunlight? fade? or clear? mine (skool brand) not so clear.  yawn.gif

fingernail more accurate than finger. especially for apps like xplore where the buttons are so darn small.

martin fields very clear....like having no protector at all, but can see the edge where the protector is of course.

Skool brand also very thin. I wonder will martin shield thinner than it ?

I'm still waiting for invisible shield. Till today no stock yet. I hope invisible shield will be thinner than the 2 brand above.
*
have read some bad feedback on invisible shield on 5800...they say the surface not smooth, so not very conducive to touchscreen.

this is first time i using martin fields on touchscreen, but imho their main advantage is that it's very clear, very smooth. It's not scratch proof, but having it on you won't feel like there is a protector there...feels like touching the screen direct. It's not very thin, but it doesn't make the screen less responsive.

but never try skool before.. sad.gif

Hey guys, anyone knows if the Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones works well with this nokia 5800 phone. Do let me know if you've experienced any problems with this S9 on a 5800. Thanks.
*
It works fine with this phone...adjust volume, track control all working fine.

But only buy S9 if you don't wear specs...otherwise very uncomfortable.

Any loss in sensitivity?
Some people don't report loss of sensitivity because they'd normally touch harder on the screen than others. I touch mine quite lightly(to be able to do multiple taps faster with less effort). So how is it?
*
i use fingernail light tap and no problem. no sensitivity probs.

no probs with quick tapping.

usb charger doesn't mean usb charging.

i also got a cable that's one end usb, the other end is normal charging point.
