i mean do i need to update it?
theres a system update check and it say i can update it..but i choose not.
wana ask here..

so do i need to update?

If you did read the ps3 media forums, u can adjust the quality settings n etc until no lag, or u can try using another codec which is core2avc...

But if mkv playback still stuttering even if using wired, just use mk2vob to remux the file and play directly from ur hdd... it will be smooth smile.gif

like i mentioned earlier. you dont need to.

but if you dont update.
no internet access
no psn
no psn store
no online gaming

if you dont need any of these things. then you dont need to update it..

yeah there is. its on psn. even got prince of persia 1. hahaha. but most of them are on japan psn i saw. so sad. i wanted to get wild arms but must be in japanese too cry.gif

dumbass questions but mind telling me the folders required to put firmware inside?

I forgot the folders necessary since my thumbdrive is with my gf and I'm having her thumbdrive which doesn't have the folders. doh.gif
