QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 20 2009, 10:22 PM) if you are too used to GRID, SHIFT's physic IS hard. The car does not go faster than in real life, and it does not have that insane grip that you do with GRID. But then again most of the hardcore GRID players like Invinz and RedBullY2K also plays SHIFT with minimal complaint on the physics, so it is kinda a moot point convicing people to change their way of tackling a new physic when it shows that they can't relearn this being too used to GRID car do not go that fast?hav u ever ride fully tune car? mayb utube u can found it there, the car which tune like that are that fast. those car are fully tuned and fully upgrade and mod. sure it can goes faster . NFS so far for me i felt is like street car not those Ultimate machine meant for Track used but GRID it was. well me also wanna shift cuz is latest game what LOL. compare sure Shift will be the best cuz they update and upgrade from grid method which is they dont have inside. but look if grid 2 come out sure every1 said grid 2 are better the shift. simple like ps2 and ps3 just fun chat ya~ no flaming |

QUOTE(bizzy @ Sep 20 2009, 10:39 PM) car do not go that fast? Indeed. but they test tuned cars on straight lines, NOT on track. On a track, cars, even tuned, can't reach that kind of top speed, due to them compensating for corners and also drags generated from downforce. For example, the Audi R10 in the game can reach a top speed of nearly 370KM/h if I recall. The fastest that the car can go in real life was 354KM/h, which, was in practice. In the race proper, they only ran up to 339KM/h. Most of the cars in GRID are also based on some of the race series that I also follow in real life (ALMS, GT2, WTCC, F3, etc). For example the BMW M3 team Germany is based on the real BMW M3 team Germany (E92) that is running in the WTCC, and they go A LOT slower than in the game. Not only that, the WTCC spec car only runs up to 5 gears.hav u ever ride fully tune car? mayb utube u can found it there, the car which tune like that are that fast. those car are fully tuned and fully upgrade and mod. sure it can goes faster . QUOTE(arct @ Sep 20 2009, 11:09 PM) Visual wise, not that realistic because parts tend to dent in only, not tertanggal or tergantung. And the lights visual damage is setakat cermin pecah, bulb pecah. That's it. And I found out a way to make the game more enjoyable for kb drivers: Body Kit. Put it on. Especially for RWD cars. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Invince_Z @ Sep 20 2009, 09:59 PM) tak faham..aku tgh pening. huwaa... this is not nfs shift controller config, but rfactor config. but since both based upon gmotor2. why not try to emulate some its SAME function. edit at your own risk... first things first. backup backup backup your original file. i had no time to edit it right now. since didnt bring my wheel balik kampung with me. the earliest i could do my own tweaking is on tuesday. at the meantime try ask MARANELLO55 and linkinstreet for advice. both of em also fimilier with gmotor tweakingjap. g25 profiler aku set ke 240°. steering sensitivity: 50% speed steering: 0% turning lock: 100% btw, ni yg aku tweak. yg di'bold' tuh beza die? tatau aku. sama je kot. ade yg nk try? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

wow.. that car got a lot of oversteering. Like a mad cow running around. I slide the slider to understeer and it became crazier and gave me more oversteering. |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 20 2009, 11:23 PM) unless someone crack the bff file.... there should be a damage.ini file in it... so after that can tweak tweak tweak untill all parts of the car gettin damage. i think sms purposedly minimize the damage option since the game had no pit stop which is not good for "real driving experience"Added on September 20, 2009, 11:31 pmwaaa this tread is super active la.... the most sad thing about this game is......online race 8 ppl only... common la, we get an almost 24 ppl in MSR rfactor league. in the international league of rfactor sometimes 40++ racing at once...8!!!!? sedih aku This post has been edited by azrink: Sep 20 2009, 11:33 PM |
