We have DiRT,and then,GRiD.Also, dont forget about Pure.

This year,we got more 4 letter word games, which are,DiRT 2,FUEL and now,the best among all (in terms of names), SHiT ®.

this is exactly like prostreet. doh.gif

If it's done right,it will be good.

Prostreet is one of the best NFS for me,in terms of customisation. Some races are pretty fun, though.

I hope Shift have Prostreet's customasation,if not better.

you compare your laptop with these ah brows.gif

Windows XP Service Pack 3 or Vista Service Pack 2
Intel Pentium 4 (or equivalent) CPU running at 3,2GHz or higher (3.4GHz for Windows Vista)
1GB RAM (Vista 2GB)
10 GB of free space
256 MB RAM with Pixel Shader 3 (PCI-Ex)

worst come 2 worst you buy alienware laptop lo...estimate can get AUD 8K the cheapest of the cheapest since aussie market 4 top end PC is very small only laugh.gif

I hope mine can take it then.

Shift looks good to me.

50 layer vinyls. biggrin.gif

Well talk about AI... I hope NFS can have better AI... I didn't quite find that NFS AI are that challenging than other games...

*
Yeah,it needs a better AI,as all these while,NFS AI have been shit,except Underground 1.

I end up playing Underground for 2 years because of the better AI.

Well I am going to tell this straight. IF you like cars that behaves like a real car would, which means lack of grip, less top speed, easy to have snap oversteer etc, then you will like this game. If not try other arcade games :3
Most of the cars here WON'T exceed 280~290, as in real life. Yes, they HAVE the top speed to do it, but rarely a race car exceeds that as they are setup for the best speed throughout the lap, and not straight line alone.
*
Shift probably wont be a 100% hardcore sim game,as it will have some options to alter the physics a bit for players who want the game to be easier to play.

I'll be happy if it's around GRID's difficulty.

If it's required to use a wheel to play this game,i'll give it a pass then.

Thats what EA always promise before they release their NFS.

The final product is often different.

Ian Bell is not from EA. He's from Blimey! Games. And since Blimey! modified the gMotor2 for usage of GTR, GTR Legends, GTR2 and RACE06, I have no doubt on what they can do.
*
You'll be amazed on what they cant do in the end.

Still, since they outsource the whole game,it should be much better than before. Some of the MW people are also working on this.

Indeed. And also Fat Cat Lim (GameAxis editor) has tested the beta version of this game (lucky cat!) and he said he was impressed with it.

I do hope it's good,and playable with a keyboard.

I like prostreet too.

Shift,i think i'll love it if there is no major screw ups.

The car list and cars tiers are arranged so nicely.
