yep, even gta4's car physics is more realistic than most racing arcade games, including grid.

just started playing this game and found out that the ai is somewhat similiar to prostreet, they follow the best line most the time. plus, i was expecting the game would run slower than grid but turns out the fps is higher than my grid fps. btw where did all the screenshots taken in the game go? i cant find them anywhere, or do i have to use fraps or evga precision tool or printscreen to take screenshots? tongue.gif

now i know why they need to reduce ai aggressiveness to 40. default aggression is 100. damn siok bo siok they will even come knock you out for no reason.

for me keyboard is not too bad lar once u got the hang of it. before this i focus too much on what is in front of my car, on other cars, or my own dashboard biggrin.gif drool.gif ; and that's why i always missed the turns. i tried focusing on the apex of each turn (i turned off the best line indicator) and i see myself following the best line eventually.

but i tried to play grid just now, and damn. it was like fast forwarding! and each corner is so easy to take. 6 laps seems shorter in grid compared to 2 laps in shift! tongue.gif

i just patched with the v1.0.1.0, now the physicsbootflow.bff cant be edited with notepad anymore, is there any other way to edit it instead of unpacking the pakfiles? cuz before this i tried unpacking and the whole game is around 8.5gb, plus the game loading time is increased compared to when i havent unpacked. or is there any way to edit the physicstweaker.xml file without unpacking? thanks!

Added on October 9, 2009, 6:02 pmaaarrggggghhhh. need to edit the ai aggression!! they have no sportsmanship at all!

is this game really proc intensive? cuz i could get 60+ fps (vsync off) with nfs shift; while for grid i just get less than 50 fps, both game running at 1080p. specs as my signature.

before patching i used to turn on all damage. so there are times if my wheel came off after an accident and i restart the race, my car doesnt have that particular wheel. btw, still any idea i can edit the physicsbootflow file or the physicstweaker file?
