yup...got g25 mappings already. Sensitivities and all i left it default too. Im straight from iracing n rfactor so instead kneejerk reaction to change controller setup, i would layan first coz my perception might be influenced by my sim habit. I wanna give Shift stock a try as SMS intended...........for now

Main je...heheh

But theres overall high speed understeer for most cars that ive tried. Instead of change d ctrller, i would adjust sway bars and frnt wings.

If u change the ctrller coz of that, other cars might give undesirable behaviour and u got to change it again.

edit: This version of NFS requires abit of simdriving approach i think. Altho the car canbe saved from a spin quite easily, the approach thru corners are very sim-like. I mean i cant carry mega speed thru a corner and be safe. Sim driving principle of slow in fast out can be applied here...if ure a clean driver that is. Or u can slide the car...which seems to be the faster way to go in Shift.

Once you over steer even on straight you will ended up with barrier kissing or loss control, this is what i felt...toughest control among NFS series... doh.gif

yaya...when outside the track line, it will keep pull me to barriers...i press damn hard on my keyboard

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 19 2009, 11:02 PM)
you can't. That's is what they call the "driver's experience", where as a driver, you will feel groggy after hitting the wall. hit the wall bad enough and you will have a black out and then a white and black picture
*
sad then..got 1 race where many veyron race in invitational event and i keep on bang(small road n fast car rclxub.gif )
my screen keep on blur n cannot see outside from cockpit doh.gif

btw, aku terjumpa apa yg dicari2 selama ni:

QUOTE(ProjD989 @ forum.ea.com)
Steering Deadzone - The smaller the value the smaller the deadzone. For steering wheels it is recommended to have this value at 0%. | NOTE: These next few deadzone settings for a gamepad are best-left unaltered.

Accelerator Deadzone - The basic description for all the deadzones are the same. For the initial range of motion no input is reported, and then starts when the end of he deadzone has been reached. On top of these additionl recommendations can be added.

Brake Deadzone - As above - For the initial range of motion no input is reported, and then starts when the end of he deadzone has been reached. On top of these additionl recommendations can be added.

Steering Sensitivity - This setting adjusts how sensitive the steering across the input span. With 50% sensitivity it is equally as sensitive at the beginning of the range as at the end of the range. This can make the steering feel twitchy on a game pad, thus it is recommended to have a lower sensitivy setting which makes the steering a bit less sensitive for small inputs. For a steering wheel it is recommended to have this setting at 50%.

Acceleration Sensitivity - Same as above, a value lower than 50% means the input is less sensitive in the beginning of the input span.

Braking Sensitivity - As defined above. If the default setting is not responsive enough (may well become car & performance specific), it's recommended to make slight adjustments & test.

Speed Steering Sensitivity - This setting reduces the sensitivity of steering at speed. A high value applies maximum effect to make the car stable to drive down straights with a gamepad. Lowering the value will make the car feel sensitive and twitchy at higher speeds. For a multiturn steering wheel it is recommended to set this value to 0%, for other wheels a value around 50% is recommended.

Inverse Shifting - Reverses the default controller shift buttons.

Camera Y Axis - Inverts the R-stick camera movement in game.

Wheel Lock - This determines how much of the available turn to turn lock to use for the steering wheel. On consoles this is set in degrees measured from lock to lock. On PC it is set as a percentage of the steerings wheels available lock. This can be fine tuned to suit the players preference, with less lock giving more sensitive steering, with too much lock the car will feel unresponsive.

FF Strength - Determines the strength of the force feedback effects, 0 means effects are muted, 10 gives the strongest effects.

until this moment, i rate it at 7.2/10.0 (with better car handling + no microstutter, shift could be rated at 9++ and of course, as a semi-sim game)

Seems like some people in Metacritic didnt really like it.

Too hard? No cops chases? No Maggie Q? doh.gif

I played the demo and i kinda like the game.

It's a bit too easy when i use the GTR,though. So easy to get 1st.

i did read some comments from the net saying that shift is unrealistic coz by applying full throttle during a corner, the car will spin out. laugh.gif
i bet if he played GTR2, he will jump and shout it's an arcade game

@Invince_Z - Nice screenies! No taiko la...only that is how i do it. Others may have different style.

So far I gave it 8/10...Gameplay is great. Lots to do in the game. Tier system is neat. Damage is according to which tier u are it seems. Im in tier 2 and damage seems to be more obvious in car handling compared to tier 1.

Hope they can do something with the replay cams. Great visuals are a pity with limited cams in replays. And savable replays pls....can make vids for utube hehe.
