crimsonhead,
You can download the app directly from google. Just check the link out. Don't use the "send to my mobile option". There is another link below that allows you to download the app directly. http://www.google.com/mobile/default/maps.html |

You want it to vibrate + ring when receive call or vibrate only? You can change the setting here :
Start -> Setting -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications Select the event as - Phone : Incoming Call Select the Ring type you wanted. E.g. If you want the phone to Vibrate and Ring at the same time, select : Vibrate and Ring. In regards to the battery life, yes, its a known issue since the beginning. Some of us heavy users have 1 day battery life as well. If you wanted a longer battery life, either : - Get an extended battery which is thicker but give extra hours - Flash to other firmwares. Some say those cooked ROMs offers better battery life as well. - Flash to WinMo6.5 which some of the people here have tested and gives exceptional battery life. Again, those flashing of firmware can void your warranty and possibility of bricking your phone. So, do it with care |

Able to receive good wifi signal on my Diamond as well. Just at times, it will disconnect and reconnects again automatically.

Not sure about you guys but my wifi router is like 3 doors away and i am still receiving good signal in my house. So, i doubt if the router is in the same house, you will receive crappy signal. Or probably you have a crappy modem?
I have the HTC ori pouch and its very nice. Hold perfectly onto the phone without the fear of dropping. Down side, its barely 1 year i had bought this and the side is showing some sign of wear and tear |

The beyer case is extremely nice. How good is it in protecting the phone? Will the phone be loose inside or as tight as the ori HTC pouch? Might look for one to replace my pouch. Is it available in local stores? Wanted to have a look first.

QUOTE(evilpuppy @ Jun 15 2009, 12:05 PM) tight and inner both side is well protect with soft cloth with every time you slide in and out it will wipe out dirt on your screen. If its as tight as the HTC pouch, i am satisfied. Anyway, if anyone knows where it is possible to get it around KL/Selangor, let me know. Planning to source for one for my TD next month. |

QUOTE(evilpuppy @ Jun 17 2009, 06:17 PM) here you can have alook on actual diamond fit into Beyza case which i used before i sold to other forumer.. This is a different one compared to the slimline right? Or is it the same? Looks nice to me though. This is my current HTC Ori Pouch. Not sure you guys have this problem or not but this is what happened to mine. Not sure whether the built quality is poor or i had been extremely rough ![]() ![]() |

Well, i cant really remember. Possibly less than 6 months i assume. LOL...Other parts are fine. Only the four inner corners are degrading. Fit the extended battery? Have you tried the HTC Ori Pouch for Touch Pro? |

Anyone had crashes before when trying to save new contacts? I tried saving a contact yesterday but everytime i press the "Add this Contact" button, it crashes and show the "Send/Don't Send Error" windows message. Happened a few times, soft reset the phone and keep happening. Until i turn it off for a while, powering it back, then the problem is gone. Any idea whats the problem here?

Well, the problem is not persisting but very very random. There are alot of weird signs coming out all of a sudden. Like when i delete all SMS via the All Messages -> Menu -> Tools -> Clear "SMS \ MMS" option, i still can see a couple of SMS left in the screen. Unless i exit the screen to the main menu, and click back, then only the message is gone
I just hope they release a new ROM soon to settle all these issues |

QUOTE(Baronic @ Jul 7 2009, 03:19 PM) @harajuku, nope : / how could u forget your lock keys from everyday use.......... Ah..Damn HTC. Why cant they resolve this issue. Somehow with the appearance of the TD2, i doubt they will even try to fix anything on the TD. @akachester, official roms always have that report issue. there is a way to switch it off, but i cant remember. if u can the problem will be solved. u MUST hard-spl to flash cooked rom. One question here, anyone knows where we can get the original charger as well as headset for the TD? And how much do they cost? I am looking for a headset that is workable with the TD as well as the radio on the TD but i cant find anything similar with the same port. |
