Are you running with this one? Does it come with WM together?

And any links to how to flash to dual boot? Trying to find the step by steps function but cant seem to locate it.

i decide to flash to this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=590090
suprising i still have my android os to play around and i can keep with sense2.5

So, it means even after flashing to another ROM, you still have the Android around? I just flashed my D2X to PX-D. Its now loading in Android. Was hoping to install a dual boot with D2X but no idea how to do it. Was hoping it will be the same as flashing to another ROM without flashing the MoviNand would keep the Android around smile.gif

I thought dualboot was included with the PX-D as well but it doesn't seem like it though. It automatically boots up in Android, unlike my D2X which allows me to pick which one to boot during startup.

Edited : Pardon me, it actually does come with DualBoot. Its just the first boot sequence was very long and does not allow dual boot. The boot up sequence of the Android was amazing tongue.gif Like command prompt doing alot of work tongue.gif

Gen Y should be good. Been using it for a while now and just updated to the D2X lately with the DualBoot application for Android. It does seem sluggish after a while and require soft reset every few days. But by far the best WM6.1 + Sense 2.5 at the moment that i have tested.

i've read that the sense 2.5 that makes the responses sluggish..so i think i'll stick to sense 2.1..

android?i've read that the gps doesnt work up until now right?how about the performance?how can eclair 2.1 perform in a much slower processor compared to the rapid snapdragon?
*
Well, been using Gen Y Sense 2.1 previously and it was good. Only problem for me as at times, the response is a tad slow. Then, i wanted to try the Android PX-D from GenY as well. And since the D2X comes with the Dual Boot, i flashed to that instead. Been using the Animated Background for a while now and to me, i like that better than the Weather Background. The Weather Background just sometimes cover up the time etc tongue.gif

In regards to the Android, its not even close to stable yet at the moment. Yes, no GPS, no Camera, and i believe no WiFi as well. Heck, it still comes with a lot of bugs like sometimes you can turn on the screen properly etc. But it gives you a feel towards the Android, which i am starting to fall in love with. And i truly believe, my next phone will most probably be an Android. Its that good.

actually 2.5 is sluggish only when using animated wallpaper / wallpaper wth weather background, or if background for all tabs is installed. otherwise is fine. oh wait i take that back, 2.5 sms system sucks donkeys :/
*
Whats the problem with the SMS?

The only problem for the 2.5 thus far for me was when it is coupled with the WM6.5.X. When used with 6.1, its still ok for me. Its just the D2X start menu looks odd in list view.

i've tried my friends htc magic and man i kinda hooked with the UI..haha..maybe I too will be gunning an android phone for my next phone..haha.

btw im loving gen Y d2 rom.kinda meet my taste.haha

Well, i for one still biased towards the BsB ROM. Been using that for a long time until the WM6.5.3 is released and subsequently, the Sense 2.1 / 2.5. I just love the Sense 2.5 more but the BsB didnt came with it, so i had to resort to Gen Y smile.gif

My loud speaker seems to be making some problem though lately. Songs loaded into the phone and played via Media Player are starting to sound really really soft unlike previously. Hoping it doesn't die on me too fast tongue.gif

my laptop is window 7, i cant syn my diamond.. why?
*
I could do that with mine. Make sure you have the correct Synchronization program. I believe its Windows Mobile Center instead of ActiveSync for Windows 7.

Saw those latest ROM by Energy and they looked wonderful especially CookieHome Tab. The home screen is way better than the default sense2.5. Too bad the latest versions all have problem with ringtones and WiFi. Hoping they could be solved soon especially for the GTX theme. smile.gif

every dai gor here , i got question.....

I flash to dual boot andriod and gen y pdx .. i found that this version, winmo works very fast... however, it cannot detect my sim card contact. I cant select copy contact at all.... any sifu know who to transfer my contact ?
*
The reason why the WinMo in the dual boot android (i suppose its the Gen.Y PDX version) is because thats a very basic WinMo without all the facilities there. No Titanium or Sense UI. smile.gif
