Try HTC Asia. If you are not able to download from there, try HTC South East Asia. One of them are bound to recognise your Serial Number. Mine cant be recognised on SEA but are able to be recognized at Asia.

Its fixed on mine since the 2.03 version though. It came back on yours?

I think any bluetooth device will work perfectly with the TD. I have a Jabra that works well together

I use to try CorePlayer with a few different movie files. Not sure it works with ALL kinds or not though But CorePlayer is indeed a nice movie player for me

How big is the file? I tried playing an avi file before (very small cause its cropped) and it doesnt seem to lag.

Had any of you tried Fring before on the TD? How good is it and which version did you guys download?

@roticanai92, let me try with other files and let you know whether it lags or not. It had been some time since i tested avi files but as i remember, mine did not show any sign of lagging.

Never seen other color for extended battery instead of black though.

Well, apparently if i had not mistaken, i saw a blue battery cover on sale in LYP when i was there on Saturday. Its sold in a HTC shop, right opposite Digi. Not sure its original or not. So, i think there could be other colors on sale as well.

And 1 more thing guys, i am confused here in Radio & ROM term. Are they the same?

Recently, i felt that the reception on my TD aren't so good. At places, other phones could get full coverage and my TD is only showing 1 bar, but at times, its ok. What might be the problem?

LOL..What do you want to discuss? I believe a lot of the owners have some kind of GPS program on their diamond. I personally have Mapking 2007.

Did you setup the port correctly? I believe GPS port for Diamond is at COM4.

Well, i wasn't really too familiar with GarminXT. Tried it once but don't feel its suitable for me in the end so i opted for Mapking 2007. On a moving car outdoor, it usually take me about 10minutes for it to get connected.

Installing Mapking? Download the trial version from mapking website and have a try. If you like it, then you can purchase it from them

Download via HTC website. Key in your phone serial no. and you will be able to download from there. If HTC Asia Pacific dont allow you to download, try HTC SEA. Bound to be one that allows you to download it.

Still, its best to wait until local sets is released. It will be troublesome if you want to warranty an overseas set.

I believe it is a program that downloads some stuff and update your GPS in order to allow it to connect faster than usual. Never used it before so i cant really comment on that

Dont think there is any AP sets available in the market. Only imported sets. The difference is that if you were to purchase imported sets, in case of any problem, you will need to send it back to the original country for warranty. At a cost of a slightly cheaper set price.

Regarding the TF3D, well, it depends on how you look into it. The first firmware released was indeed laggy due to the extreme memory leak issues. The issue had then been lowered down in the latest firmware but at times, you will still need to soft reset the phone for better performance. For me, the speed is still ok. Very responsive at times but when the memory leak issue comes in, then it felt laggy at times.

It just mean your Garmin will be able to detect GPS signal faster. It doubt it will affect the actual performance.

Well, i sometimes have trouble with the Windows Live Messenger as well. Not sure what is the problem. If the connection is slow, it will never connect. Trying to download Fring as a replacement but never seem to be able to find the program.

Ah..So its free then. I always thought we need to pay for that Synchronizing it now

Not sure this had been asked before or not but guys, do you know how could i access the internet if my TD is connected to a PC via ActiveSync and my PC have internet connection?

No problem on my side. Have you tried reflashing the firmware before sending it for warranty?

Well, updating the QuickGPS is ok. Never tried the weather though. But when i tried connection to Opera, it tells me no connection found.

- Edited - Nvm, all of a sudden the connection is working already. One thing guys, how are we able to disable program to launch during startup? I installed Fring to my TD and it seems everytime i startup my phone, Fring launches by itself.

Take it as something similar to formatting a PC. All you need to do is download the ROM from HTC website and flash it yourself via the PC. Follow every single instruction shown in the installer and its very easy to do. And yes, all your data will be lost.

Just go to settings and find a section that is stated as GPS port and set it as COM4. Each software has their own settings so i cant tell you which one is for Garmin.

There is nothing to setup on the GPS hardware. The hardware is just a medium for your software to connect to GPS signal via Satelite. Thus, you can only setup the software. Go to the Garmin and locate the settings for GPS and allocate it to COM4.
