Hi, need some help from experts here.

I upgraded my htc diamond to the latest ROM version from the htc website and restored all my files using Sprite backup later. The problem is i cant delete any installed programs from Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs.
The 'Remove Programs' list is empty after restoring using Sprite backup.

of course, they're not in the registry. u gotta look for it and delete manually bro

i installed this analog clock earlier and may i noe how can i delete it manually? i have tried replacing it by installing other clock but it doesnt work. I have also tried extracting the original htc clock files to windows folder by Total Commander but it failed. I wan other clock~!

u install by copying files? lol...hard then, if can u can just uninstall

Is anyone flash the latest 2.03 ROM with 1.40 Olinex Hard-SPL? Encounter any problem?

just updated the final version of Dutty's, i still experience the screen flickering if u can remember , but as usual after off and on the screen, the problem goes off, till now i dont know the problem lies at the screen or the software. and i experienced a few problem with my TD so far,

some of the problems :
a) screen goes haywire as in totally u cant see anything except for colors and its scattered
b) hang
c) ringing sound comes from the place where u listen to the caller speaker instead of the main speaker


my radio version is 1.09.xx.xx, isit the main problem ?

@Jay, explain the ringing sound? i remember when i flashed aka chester's phone we experimented, dunno why when video calling, and u place your Diamond near the other phone will have ringing sound also.

@as for the screen, that sounds bad bro. do u want me to restore everything so u can send back for warranty?

I had flashed to 2.03 Original rom. No problem.
Newer rom have some new features, but I do not observe any significant speed or performance improvement.

erm the ringing sound only happened to me 3 times, and on the same day, after soft reset a couple of times, it didnt occured anymore. the ringing tone comes out from the secondary speaker, the one where u listen to what the caller is talking instead of the main speaker. totally different with chester's condition i guess.

as for the screen, u really suspect its hardware problem? coz i kinda suspect its the Hard SPL .. if hardware it would be permanent eventhough i off/on the screen lol..

hi all.. i need some advice here.. i plan to buy an in car charger for my TD.. is it ok for me to buy those unbranded charger? or better to buy the ori charger? the ori charger too expensive for me.. xD

Iya, unbranded car chargers are okay d la.

I've been using unbranded car chargers since my old phones. Nvr burnt any also.

will the in car charger make my battery lifespan shorter? cause my friend told me that it might happen cause of the power voltage supplied by the car battery is different than the normal charger.

Hi, New user here.
Would like to ask you all, how come my gps isn't working?
I've installed google maps in the phone, but it sez no gps receiver was found.

I've set the GPS program port at COM4, and also google maps on the same port. I've also allowed windows mobile to manage access automatically.

Is there anything I've missed?

I've updated to the latest ROM also.

Hi guys,

Im using garmin and GPS works fine until recently when i i run Garmin and click View map, it takes forever (more than 30 mins) and stuck at "Searching for Satellite" page. Previously (few weeks ago) the gps lockdown is very fast, less than 30 seconds.

I tried remove the Garmin and reinstall fresh, same problem. Yes its attached to COM4 and it's enabled.

Anyone know what is the cause or my GPS receiver just spoilt like tat all of sudden? Anyone has this issue before please share your solution. Thx!

p/s: Diamond with hard SPL, Dutty's ROM.

u need either Garmin of Mapking
