shocking.gif where are you from bro? PV80 is a soon to be obsolete model, if not an already obsolete model!

The replacement for PV80 is the X10 series

hi,

FYI, today I went to Legend PJ, they are selling the 42x10k with freebie RM3590, but the saleman advice me not to buy plasma, because he suggest LCD TV. And he also mention that alot of plasma user do complain on the plasma. Do any sifu here agree with him?
*
You should ask him, what does other user complain about?

I was told the exact same thing when I purchase my X10 from them. I just told them to cut the crap, I want the X10, pay them the cash and have it delivered to me tomorrow.

Assuming the HN salespeople have set up ALL the displays properly calibrated this could work. Do you see this happening?

What do you think these big store employees do ...

A. push up the brightness and contrast
B. leave at factory setting
C. use a video calibration disc to set up each display
*
I would say

D. Don't give a damn about the display and stand there chatting with other colleagues instead.

saw Viera X10 50" and 42" at harvey norman midvalley. the colors still not as deep as Sony Bravia. will the G10 series have comparable colors? the pictures of vivid setting posted above suggest that might be the case. waiting for it to release in malaysia so i can check it out.
*
I don't think the colors are properly tuned there, comparison there would be bias unless every display there is properly tuned with a standard.

I'm sure there are some PV80 owners willing trade their unit with your X10. rclxms.gif
