Yahoo Messenger can send free SMS. It is free for you to send and also free for the receiver.

After one reply from the recipient to verify that he/she indeed knows you, you can send SMS unlimited.

However, be duly forewarned,[U] the rate for sending SMS from handphone to YM is expensive. So after the first reply for verification, ask the receiver to reply to your handphone number, never again to your YM.

The process go...

Firstly,
You on YM send SMS to receiver on hp
Receiver reply to your YM for verification

From then onwards,
You on YM send SMS to receiver
Receiver send reply to your handphone

Read about the feature on this address http://messenger.yahoo.com/features/sms/

Hopes that helps and thanks to MNet for clarification.

Celcom blue cube is showing a bad example.

Thats why celcom customer service sux till today.

Last week few ppl i know went to blue cube sunway pyramid for bill payment and to purchase new simpack but was treated horribily by a malay guy and a chinese guy with spec.1 a

My fren will go take their photos and post it up here next week to show how much we support 1malaysia. I am glad a few of us here ported to Maxis.
Case 1 In the shop got 10 ppl they only entertain 2 ppl the rest standing there waiting when they ask he said you cant see i am servicing a customer?
Case 2 They pretend you are not there
Case 3 U ask 10 question they only answer 1.
Case 4 Everything say can can can reach home the customer support thru 1111 say cannot cannot cannot.

Even myself ported to Hotlink HYC the service was excellent .
Its like celcom up there they throw huge sum of money for infrastructure but neglect customer piority and hire good stuff.

Sounds like typical govt work ethics. I really like Maxis customer service, very friendly and they will answer all your questions.

Totally agree with u. I was at maxis centre last week to port my No. Their service was good. They uncertain about something they even run off and ask their superior to resolve my problem. I like celcom but their service is still as bad as day 1

Alright will try that. Luckily I have another hp with another sim card.

Ah. Nevermind. The configuration sms came to me but it wasn't because of phone/sms switching.
