I read that this error message has been there since the Magic SIM was launched.

Celcom system got bug and stop all users from signing up 1 and 2 years validity after the release of Magic SIM.
I saw someone here say Celcom said that is a bug but they can't give a time frame when they will fix the validity purchase.

I'm new to Celcom (First 38) and just received my first bill. To my surprise the amount is RM65+. I called CS and been told that the first bill consists of prorate + stamp duty + advance payment + 6%. Next month onwards will be RM38 + 6%.

This makes no sense to me. A postpaid plan should bill the charges at the end of billing cycle. But what Celcom doing is bill the charges at the beginning of the cycle, which is like a prepaid. It makes us pay advance payment every month.

When I sign up the plan at blue cube I was told there's no advance payment. And now I have to pay advance payment every month shakehead.gif

i believe u are mnp over . if mnp , there is no "advance payment" during register but u will get charge after the 1st bill. for those existing celcom customer that change plan they will need to pay rm40.30 (rm38+6%) during registration. blame the salesmen that didnt gv u the right info. not the celcom.

the 2nd bill will be back to normal min rm40.30 if u didnt over use the sms and call.

Its still there. I've checked with celcom staff last week. Maybe would be helpful that you report the matter as well to customer service hopefully they will solve it faster??

It's been stated from Day 1 when MagicSIM was released, that users cannot apply for XPAX1/2 with it.

That's why old XPAX users who need validity extension are not changing to MagicSIM and in the meantime, waiting for Celcom to rectify the system problem that's stopping them from renewing their XPAX1/2.

I believe they're just using up the old packs. When activated, you'll get Magic SIM.

With Celcom, I think the only possible way is to go to a Celcom Center.
