I'm new to Celcom (First 38) and just received my first bill. To my surprise the amount is RM65+. I called CS and been told that the first bill consists of prorate + stamp duty + advance payment + 6%. Next month onwards will be RM38 + 6%.

This makes no sense to me. A postpaid plan should bill the charges at the end of billing cycle. But what Celcom doing is bill the charges at the beginning of the cycle, which is like a prepaid. It makes us pay advance payment every month.

When I sign up the plan at blue cube I was told there's no advance payment. And now I have to pay advance payment every month shakehead.gif
