i heard complaint from some maxis postpaid user that they tied under 6 months contract, however u may contact maxis to clarify about this.

regarding on comitment fee, eventhough maxis total comitment is rm80, but u can share the credit both of you. but celcom cannot, celcom principal line comitment fee is rm50, while supp line no comitment fee, just pay access fee rm5 per month..

- maxis (total rm80 per month, all rm50 in term of airtime)
- celcom (total rm55 per month, which is rm50 in term of airtime and rm5 access fee).

so choose which suit your need. you can also opt to CEP20 to be a principle line with rm20 access fee (but if im not mistaken, u need to use it for 3 or 6 month first before u are allowed to sign up supp line under it)

for postpaid maxis user, there's no such thing as 6 month contract. I did MNP to celcom after 2 month signing with maxis postpaid. no problem

i didn't get my salary yet.. how to reload lol..

by the way, i agree with you.. its like having a free call and sms for 7 days but limited to rm50 worth of call only (when you reload rm100).

i think from marketing view, it is better for celcom to promote like this (free call/sms for 7 days when reload rm100 for example).. maybe could attract more people.

but from consumer view, it is better they give it in term of credit like this because consumer can see how much they already spent the credit and easy to manage the free airtime for whatever purpose they want...

yeah, but if u use UOX (extreme long validity), and still got hundreds credit... then i guess its only surplus... cool2.gif (since the bonus comes with 7-day validity...)
what i am curious to know, is the reason they give it on this day...err, today is their ceo's birthday perhaps? tongue.gif
so the realsitic thing to do is, only topup the amount which give bonus credit equivalent to ur 1-week usage. smile.gif
sounds freak if topup 100 and ur weekly usage is rm 10-20 only... sweat.gif

Im one of the Celcom fans, have been using its since TM Touch days. Even my simcard is the TM Touch one.So far, Im satisfied with all services Celcom have provide but Im not really satisfied with its bonus. I know UOX offer more value but I can only use it for 2 years and I have to change my phone numbers that i've been using since Im 15.sigh.

I hope Celcom will appreciate its loyal user by giving more bonus and gift. biggrin.gif

a fren of mine reload rm100 to get rm50 free.. i ask him how u gonna finish rm50 within one week, he said he want to subscribe daily unlimited broadband for 7 days (7 x rm6 = rm42) lol .. at least he got free internet for the whole week.. thumbup.gif

by the way, this is celcom latest financial report which had been published yesterday

QUOTE
Strong Operational Growth by Celcom

Celcom continued its stellar performance, delivering its best quarterly performance of the year, despite intensifying competition, weakened macro-economic conditions and uncertainties of MNP. Recording an unprecedented 11th consecutive quarter of growth, Celcom saw solid revenue of RM5.6 billion, a rise of 10% YoY and 4% QoQ.

Concerted efforts and focus on segmented marketing yielded encouraging results. Total subscribers grew to 8.8 million with 483 thousand postpaid net additions driven by new acquisition drive. Similarly, the prepaid segment saw net additions rising to 1.1 million on the back of successful segment based marketing campaigns.

Mobile Broadband saw continued success with a striking 27% growth QoQ in customers, marking the highest for the year. Celcom will continue to focus on this segment to capitalise on the growth opportunity due to low broadband penetration in Malaysia, currently less then 20% per household.

Contributing 56% to Group EBITDA, margins improved from 44.6% to 45.2% amidst cost escalations in the last two quarters. Network cost saving initiatives and growth in revenue drove margins improvement. PATAMI in 2008 was RM1.3 billion a rise of 23% YoY. As a key contributor to the Group in terms of EBITDA and cash, there will be continued focus on fundamentals and operational efficiencies at Celcom whilst preserving the growth momentum.
finally i know why suddently they are giving suprise bonus yesterday.. because of this financial result, they want to celebrate it with us lol rclxms.gif

i reloaded RM50 to get te RM20 free credit. but since i'm using the UOX plan, to finish up RM2 a day is quite tough! but then again, like i said earlier, i'll just treat it as free calls for the next one week. but if i cant finish up the rm20 credit, i'll just ask anybody to make call using my phone. hehe
