The difference between P & A... Excellent question! I would like to know the answer too. I was just trying to answer this question but I couldn't really answer it. tongue.gif

For all I know, Program mode should not let u change aperture n shutter speeds. It auto selects n all u can do is set things like ISO.

At least that is how the P mode worked on my fren's 400D....

I need to go back try 1st, coz i really never used the P mode b4 sweat.gif

Anybody here owns the polarizer set for the LX3?
Price roughly how much?

P mode allows us to modify the aperture as well. By moving the joystick up and down, we modify the aperture and shutter as a whole. I have just checked my LX3 about the difference. I can't really find it out. The minor difference is that the screen is a bit clean for P mode as the shutter and aperture information are not shown before you half-pressed the shutter.

I took a quick glance at the quick menu. The options offered are the same for both modes.

So.. the game starts! Who can find out the difference~ rclxms.gif

Am I the first to 'discover' the ambiguity? LOL.

1/10 s, f/2.2, ISO 200.

Is there a 'best' way to tweak white balance? Auto seem a little blueish at times, but sometimes it offers the best color. How 'white' is white? I aim at white region but it's only until approaching the last few dots only I notice the color change.

What is the ambiguity you mean here?

I think the option is to customise your own white balance. I am going to give it a try using Double A A4 paper. smile.gif

the wide adapter cost u around rm600 to rm700 which is a rip off i would say...not really worth it...at 24mm f2.0 it is already distorted heavily and plus a wide angle i am sure it will further distort the image..

a point n shoot at 24mm is good enuff..if u want wider with good quality go for slr...

set ur shutter to longer like 1/20,1/10 or longer (depends the scenario of the venue), move ur cam while capturing ur subject.

I wonder how this Lumix LX3 is to be compared with Canon G10? Thinking of getting either one.
