My N79 got problem. Sometimes, when people call, I cannot hear them or sometimes I can hear them but they cannot hear me.
Any idea what is the problem? Tq.

long time ago this is my main phone, then i upgraded to Desire last year but still this is still going as my FM radio and backup phone

same as me, but only use it for GPS. now i find quite hard to use phone with normal keypad. need to use full qwerty keyboard or touchscreen phone only

i still keep this N79... but not using it..

I bought one N79 from a forumer a few weeks ago. After i test it for a few days, a weird symptoms happen.

The background theme tend to change and causing vibrations without good reason at all. It tend to happen randomly. Is it a default theme bug of firmware problem?

I have 2 units of the N79 with me and the other unit is working fine and ready for sale.

Hi, don worry about it. Theme change and vibration is cause by the "Auto theme change when back cover change".
If u didn't off ur auto theme switch in setting thr, this might happen again as u slightly press ur phone's back cover.
Try off the setting by : Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>Themes>Theme switch (choose off)
N79 have sturdy latest firmware so don worry. Hope this do help u...

I'm still using it for gps, despite N8 has one as well, but it has no AV composite output; only HDMI.

SO have to use N79 to output to my 7in screen in the car....

well.. N8 also can use the AV cable..

i kept my N79 though i'm not using it

who ask apple 2 make surfing internet so possible with mobile with just a touch of a finger

I heard the same thing as well...not sure if my setting is wrong...i used the same cable to plug to N8, and N8 complaints its non standard AV cable...so how?

settings -> phone -> accesories -> tv out

Thanks for helping, i have tried checking the setting there...toggling between pal/ntsc and aspect, no difference....maybe the cable is not compatible with N8.

Where did you got the cable from?
