You yourself knew it wasn't Canon or Nikon's dupe and I hardly see any reason for them to do so. smile.gif

Sony Alpha 350
Exif available - manual settings

NON crop, just resize

Notice that the contrast is slightly off because the brightness increase. As said earlier, best if use those alpha with DRO level 5

100% crop
#3 - DRO off

This really have to use a good monitor to see the noise. My notebook can't really see... but my office LCD monitor can slightly see. My Samsung monitor should be able to see better

yes but more noise compared without DRO.... "more noise" the phrase by itself makes it look bad.... "more noise compared without DRO" sounds better biggrin.gif

and yes, only if you want to see at 100% view
after resize, won't see much difference

bring my SLR almost everywhere I go, as you will never know there would be a photo opportunity and if don't have a camera around with ya... well, dont want to lose the opportunity

of course there is always the camera phone, but my handphone only has 0.3 megapixel camera phone biggrin.gif

bro chiggy: thanks for the restructuring smile.gif...yeah i do turn off DRO when shooting above iso 1600..smile.gif..and i shoot with 1600 more than 800, somehow i feel that the pics looks better smile.gifsmile.gif...and i realized that the noise is lesser when DRO is off with ISO1600
thanks

The shot is slightly over-exposed and like what you've said it's blur. Anyway thumbup.gif for the nice idea smile.gif

manual focus?
anyway.... since you are using a300, just use the live view
no need to focus, just move your camera front and back to get the focus right
