manual focus?
anyway.... since you are using a300, just use the live view
no need to focus, just move your camera front and back to get the focus right

i did dat..but i was using tamron 90mm..couldnt reduce my aperture due to the lack of light in my room...so a very slight movement from my hand would cause it oof...anyway..would try something similiar today with gorillapod ...hope its helping =)

What's the price difference? I think both Sony & MAHA are well-established brands. I can't say which battery have better technology because I don't know. But in cases like this, I would go with the cheaper ones....

if u really really need extra power.... get urself an extra battery... Sony NP-FM500H... around RM2xx saja...

No need to use the battery grip lah. Don't have also still can take photos. Better buy a good battery grip rather than kelam-kabut buy a cheap battery grip. nod.gif

i'm also tempted to get a vertical grip
actually, shooting fashion show or even model shoot, it would be useful to me.... but I'm getting second thoughts.... cuz nowadays I don't go out that much to shoot them tongue.gif

if u wish to get extra battery and u dint have a carrying case,y not consider getting accessory kit for rm300 that contain battery and a case instead of paying rm2XX for just a battery
