I think both Sony & MAHA are well-established brands. I can't say which battery have better technology because I don't know. But in cases like this, I would go with the cheaper ones....

Anyone know where I can get the cheapest battery grip for Alpha instead that RM 300?Need it But sadly got RM 200..  This saturday minister coming to my school for bestari-thon event.

the grip is good to hav but u wont die without that too...if budget nt enough..y dont try to shoot without that first rather than buy a unknown cheap grip n regret later..?

Sony NP-FM500H... around RM2xx saja... batt grip also use same action.. use 1 battery till finish.. then go to next battery... in ur case.. finish batt 1... take out go charge.. n use batt 2...

Better buy a good battery grip rather than kelam-kabut buy a cheap battery grip.

owned a grip before, tried few times n sell it off. for me alpha with grip too macho n heavy n not really practical if traveling...

i'm also tempted to get a vertical grip actually, shooting fashion show or even model shoot, it would be useful to me.... but I'm getting second thoughts.... cuz nowadays I don't go out that much to shoot them
