QUOTE(Pan84 @ Sep 17 2012, 03:11 PM) Manual search network. Outside where no umobile signal will be roaming on maxis network. Some can auto registered to any network but some are not. When you used manual search network, you only able to found 3 network, where is DIGI, U Mobile (Roaming on MAXIS) and umobile2G (Roaming on Celcom but it seems failed to register the network or no more can roaming) BTW, currently roaming in Maxis network available for 2G or GPRS / Edge only. 3G is yet NOT READY for U Mobile user. Seems have to wait longer before it available to roaming. Digi is of coz using DIGI.U Mobile is the 'home' network. umobile2G is maxis, roaming partner. they didnt renew/continue the contract with celcom anymore. |

QUOTE(SureshG @ Sep 23 2012, 11:51 AM) http://asia.cnet.com/hacked-iphone-5-nano-...er-62218820.htm some of the commentsCnet reports that the thickness of the Nano SIM doesn't matter. This means that the cutters will work. "Didn't work for me. I got my iPhone 5 this morning, and live in an area where carriers wont be issuing nano-sims for another month or so. It just wouldn't let me activate the iPhone (stating invalid sim). It did however seemed to show the phone was getting reception when the cut down sim was in the phone regardless of the non-activation." "This worked! It took me about minutes. I used a pair of scissors and some sandpaper to sand the edges and the back (to decrease the thickness). I took out my Verizon SIM and popped in my SIM from my phone company abroad, and boom, worked like a charm. Super, super easy." |
