AFAIK, coolant changed at 10k km.

So fast change coolant ? I think 1 litre of coolant selling in SC is around RM28 , and followed the Service Manual or normally we changed only at 30000km .

RM70+ how many bottle of coolant they put in for u ?

I booked last month and getting my car this month got 3k discount plus 1k service voucher
The only downside is that the limited choices of colours - Black, silver and blue algate...not to my liking

For 2008 model they are giving RM4000 discount and RM625 complimentary from Government back in Jan-March.

Mine is manual transmission. How come u only got 3k discount when u bought in March when they offered 4k?

During January - March .

Gen2 2008 - Discount RM3000 ( I got RM3088 ), and RM625 complimentary from Government .
Waja 2008 - Discount RM4000 , and RM625 complimentary from Government.

And interest rate is 3.65 % for 5 and 7 years , come with 5 years warranty( 2 + 3 EWP).


How's the current offer ? RM4k discount , how is the interest ? 5 yrs warranty as well ,right ? (Back in Feb got some dealer tell me if wnt EWP ,interest will be higher )

Just knew *and proven) that my HU can play 320kbps MP3

sure thing sphiroth... try playing 640k ones.. its more 'livelier'

On Paper ,Gen2's CD Player can play MP3 , but after I got the car ,than I realise all Gen2 CPS CD Player cant play mp3 , Proton brochure got error ...

hi.mine is gen2 cps mt 2008.only got 2k discount.got my car lastweek.my SA rip me off ka?or the amount of discount is depend on location.btw, im in kk.

urm, my gen2 cps player can play MP3

no worries. concentrate on the door sill area. between the front fender and the front door. the water tends to run down by the sides the straight away drip into the doors. its the pointed edge where our side mirrors are pointing forward... haha.. might have confussed u... if got pic i will upload later. hehe..

for the back door, its around the door lock area. the rubbers are very thin for waja... wonder why...

at least it's not supposed to be different...
cause MP3 is quite a prominent feature to just change like that

and by the way, the service people will tell you anything.
they did that when i said my remote trunk release doesn't work
the guy said "Gen2 CPS mana ada remote release, dia main tulis je kat website tu."

Proton Authorized Dealer usually offer RM2k discount if you walk in , if you make some call and do some comparison (Subang/PJ a lot of Proton/EON dealer woh ) I actually been offered RM3k , so u didn't been ripped off , but u got just got a standard walk in discount .

But I thought 2008 model already finish in March already , You May only got your car ? , maybe KK different ? , anyway drive it happily lah ,dont think too much , Gen2 CPS mt 2008 here as well


hmm.. my cant =.= , dont even have seat belt light and captor system , how about other Gen2 CPS Driver ? can your Gen2 CD player play mp3 ?


My FC now days is around RM0.166/KM after 5k service

Going to Penang next week ,will test my highway FC again .

Now SC is giving me Petronas Semi Sync 15w50 , wanna try Fully Sync 5w40 next round .

my gen2 CPS got remote trunk release..working...

my player can play MP3.. i make my own compilation MP3 songs...
my seat belt light = not working... SC told me that my sensor not there..

captor? dont know...
