I didn't want to hold personal grudge against him. but time and time again he keeps getting on my nerves..but i admit at times i broke the forum rules.

But ytd he closed this topic that I opened

I just feel i am being treated unfairly in this forum. Are the mods in Kopitiam being bias? Sexist or whatever it is..i dont know..but it's just really unfair that they are consistently closing my thread.

I am really upset with Baronic's action. He talks loud..Does he put his money where his mouth is? Seriously, some mods are just getting personal on you...

Complaining about a moderator

If you have a problem with something a moderator has done, and believe they have not done their job properly or abused their power, do not create a thread about it.

In the first instance, contact the mod in question.

If you are still dissatisfied then contact badawi_rocks who will grudingly happily look into the matter and see if any further action is required. Be sure to forward all relevant details such as links to the thread in question and all PM communications with the moderator/staff in question.

If, after following these steps,[ you still feel the issue has not been resolved satisfactorily, send se7en [/B]a PM. se7en's decision is final.

@Meruchan, i've made a few mistakes while moderating, and u can ask around to those people i did make those mistakes, i was quite willing to apologise.

some people even PM me asking me the reason for closing thread, i gave reason, and they gave a good argument, i agreed, and even willingly reopenned the thread for them. And we are on good terms until now, because civility is preserved.

but since u have abandoned civility and decided to bring your own sad personal issues with me into this, and because at my discretion, i still think what i did was right, i will NOT apologize.

an advice to all on moderating team, next time when taking any actions, please discuss with a few of your other colleagues, to avoid any suspicion of power abusing and double standard. Last CNY my account suspension was extended further because of creating dupe during the main account suspension. But I see one guy above here still able to post freely using his dupe while waiting his prime to be released. Another one was a 10% warn because of vulgarity, but funny thing is one of the member's own nick have that word also. I chose to remain silent but that doesn't mean I am happy with the decision. My 2 cents.

Thank you. Most of the topics that we closed are reported like the one you just did (however most people do it anonymously by clicking on the report button). I guess seriosekitt3h is gonne love you for reporting this one. The ones we miss most likely went to back of the second page before we had a chance to close.

With that said, members here actually 'close' more topics by reporting to us than we do on our own. Thanks again.

by the look of it, this matter is so petty - a pm would suffice, but instead it end up being a thread of 3 pages and going. not to say you're wrong, just saying it could've been settled via PM.

easy reference : use REPORT button 1st. next stage can use PM. final stage then start thread.

i dont think it needs a rocket scientist to figure this out...

just want to ask is any warning given when an offense is made or a straight suspension? my case was when i was replying in kopitiam i answered 'second' in the second post which was following the "trend" and was suspended. not by 1 moderator but by 2 moderators at the same instance ie december 15 2008 08:58pm by moderator A and december 15 2008 08:58pm by moderator B for the same offense. i got 20% increment instead of 10%.

meruchan - Your thread was racial. It was unnecessary. It would have led (if it didn't already) to racial arguments and insults. Political/Racial threads are prohibited outside RWI so thats that.

As to why your thread was binned and the other 2 wasn't, well, its because we didn't notice the other threads. Now that we have, I'll look into it and see if its against the rules.

for me, what me feel unjust is, just now seriosekitt3h's iso game storage method thread( a professional moderator should know it alrealdy violated the rule, as games companies never released a iso format game in internet) ...

when the thread was going on for few pages, NORMALLY it means it is allowed to discuss right ?

but when u involved in the discussion later on, it suddenly went missing totally...what would u feel ? fair because operators eventually saw it ?

and when I opened another thread to clarify what I have posted in seriosekitt3h's thread isn't relevant to warez ...my threads went missing totally too within 5 minutes without any reason given..

so, why my thread been deleted immediately while his obviously violated rule thread hung on there longer then it supposed ?
