just want to say that this thread serves no benefits at all ...for both moderating team members and forum users ...

I once seen a staff stated, every moderator has his own judgement on certain circumstance ..

I also seen through the method how such problems been resolved in here...

in this case, both parties must be playing cat and mouse game...

guess who will be the cat who will be the mouse in the end of the thread ? rolleyes.gif

arising such issue from a forum user is always meant capping a super microscope on oneself by moderating team members cool.gif

so good luck and peace ...

Sometimes I wonder whether others tried imagine themselves handling a free for all forum before or just get emo when it doesn't goes our way.

Look at the complain list we had in Front Desk.
Just the other day, someone complained about "VIP" tags and even used the justification of "Those with tag should act more mature". But yet do they reflect on themselves? So what?....

Like I mentioned, we're rare breed. According to ratio, we're always singled out. But can I not be emo? I guess if I want to open topics on "posters" that I dislike; I guess I can fill up kopitiam with it. Gosh....internet seriously is seriuz business.....wow!

Btw, before I forgot; MeruChan...you got reports all over your posts here in this topic. It just shows that some kopitiamers (yeah, it was the usual kopitiamers) just disagree with what you have to mention here.

OK...end of my rant

ya, i can imagine u guys in slavery biggrin.gif ...

but moderating a free forum should in voluntary mood ...not in slavery mood..

if a mod being emo and unreasonable, what's the point the mod being a moderator??

just now, 2 threads of mine been deleted within 2 or 3 minutes mad.gif without any reason ...

and the thread that suppose already violated rule hung on there for few pages in an hour perhaps

Thank you. Most of the topics that we closed are reported like the one you just did (however most people do it anonymously by clicking on the report button).  I guess seriosekitt3h is gonne love you for reporting this one. The ones we miss most likely went to back of the second page before we had a chance to close.

With that said, members here actually 'close' more topics by reporting to us than we do on our own. Thanks again.

u mean I reported other people's rule violated threads in order the thread to be closed ?

I never done this things le..sleep.gif

for me, what me feel unjust is, just now seriosekitt3h's iso game storage method thread( a professional moderator should know it alrealdy violated the rule, as games companies never released a iso format game in internet) ...

when the thread was going on for few pages, NORMALLY it means it is allowed to discuss right ?

but when u involved in the discussion later on, it suddenly went missing totally...what would u feel ? fair because operators eventually saw it ?

and when I opened another thread to clarify what I have posted in seriosekitt3h's thread isn't relevant to warez ...my threads went missing totally too within 5 minutes without any reason given..

so, why my thread been deleted immediately while his obviously violated rule thread hung on there longer then it supposed ?

to be fair, u guys should leave my thread for same duration as his thread hung at there before u guys deleted mine...

what u guys think about that ? biggrin.gif
