If the battery has charge in them or not depleted to less than 10% and just shut off without any warnings or notification, I think it is a battery problem. It shouldn't just go off like that. If it is almost depleted, then ok lar.

I guess just let them have a look at it. Don't rush them and leave it there for a few days so they can diagnose properly.

i've updated my firmware to the latest version, as discussed here, wayfinder still shown as 7

yesterday i just tried the GPS function to get my location, and everything is fine until today. I was surprised that Navigator no longer works! Using explorer to find in Application folder, the Wayfinder 7 is gone!!!

i didn't know how could it disappear.. is that possible to reinstall without reset the phone?

I think you need to update firmware again to reinstall it back. Ihink if just install only from Wayfinder will get 5 days trial instead of the 90 days.

Yes, updated it still shows Wayfinder 7 in the application folder but it is the latest version 8.

meaning even if we get from firmware, we could only used it for 90 days?! after that the apps would not launch? or just cannot do routing?

After 90 days trial I think it will not work and will tell you to buy the subscripstions from wayfinder.

I think it follows the day when you activate the wayfinder on your C905. So updating the firmware will not reset the 90 days trial. I think it follows a code in your phone or something. Unless can find hacked version then it is another case.

some have wifi problem that cannot browse the internet althou the wifi is connected..

i cant seem to watch videos from youtube.
used-youtube client-loaded but iwth no pictures or sound
-browser,opera and netfront-connected tt media something and it said failed to play.

anyone experinced this?

my friend encountered the 0% problem and its due to his router settings. try checking ur router?

i used it and it says corrupted in my phone. by the way cool theme

ah, a dark theme. I especially like how it looks when u open an SMS. If the background can be slightly darker it'll be nicer, because the text in the phone is mostly white so the text will stand out more.

i think its sumthin to do wif the mac address or sumthin? try to check whether there's any restriction on ur router settings.

my monitor is an old almost-15" CRT monitor...so...the colour might not be great.

i have another theme in the works now. dark theme also. but this time it's using swirly patterns. but will probably take longer to complete coz uni starts tmr! =p

In the new software update, WayFinder is still displayed as WayFinder 7. But if you check the version number in 'information', you'll learn that the version number is now 8.xx.xx. Visually speaking, the interface of the software is changed too and is the same as the Wayfinder 8 that you buy from their online store. I would say that its a spelling mistake on their part.

Or maybe (just maybe), they're avoiding some legal issues or some restrictions.

coz mine i can still connect and browse....but when searching for networks, sometimes theres 0 bar. sometimes 1 bar.

i find the wifi to be a lil weak. and sometimes unstable. making it a lil hard to connect at times. even my GF's phone acts the same way.

I dont know anything about creating themes but I think you hv to use some action scripts for the buttons (menu, left keypad, right keypad) much like how we use actionscripts for onClick mouse functions in flash applications.

Adobe has this software called Adobe Device Central which helps you in creating mobile apps by giving the phone screen size & buttons. u might find that helpful

there have been times that I get connected (3-4 bars) but yet i cant surf. Not too sure if its because of the update, because it works okay for me previously. will try and reupdate it again like aNgse suggested.
