Yes! As long as it is under warranty it is free.

That's the mafan that we have to go though when upgrading SE phones. For nokia or even my old Dell axim, upgrading firmware is nothing easier than just run the patch and then restore EVERYTHING (of course not 100%).

Just being lazy having to set those things like speed dial, voice dial etc.. sian2

i think it is posted earlier that you can change the map pic type from png to something else(not sure what, lazy) so there will be no laggy media when updating the pictures.

really? if im not mistaken the current extension is memang png...
hm... my media palyer there now got 18k+ pictures. haha. nvm la, not that laggy till unbearable. but let me kno if you suddenly not lazy and found the solution. XD

man...downloading the maps for trekbuddy is annoying...so leceh have to click 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1 by 1...either that or i dunno how to use that mediafire thingamajiggie

anyway...im downloading klang valley, penang and singapore maps right now...

once done..ill unrar them....then rar again as 1 file and upload to rapidshare so theres only 1 download link for KV, PG and SG.

I was trying to install the Wayfinder into the phone memory (to solve the Navigation shortcut not functioning issue).

When the jar file was launched from memory card, it is automatically saved into M2. Then I tried to move the jar file to phonememory, and remove M2, then try to install, the system complained that "not enough space"! In fact when I checked the phone memory size, it still has about 99MB?!

can anyone try this out?

anyway...i unrar the klang valley maps into a folder just now...

but when i try to transfer the folder into my phone via usb (in phone mode, media transfer mode, mass storage mode) the thing kinda stopped halfway... tried quite a few times...

then when i wanted to delete the folder, a popup came saying the action cancelled coz the device was disconnected or stopped etc etc...damn odd...

think mebbe the phone or the card cant take too many files transfered into it at once...

will try removing the m2 and shove it in the USB reader that came with the phone and transfer again

Ive not printed out photos from this phone but i've printed out photos from SE k800i Cybershot. its a 3.2MP phone and the quality is quite nice.

yea, i hate the fact that they include everything in the Media > Photos


Use the M2 USB Adaptor. Takkan la u want to keep pressing "Accept?" Its a whole lot of files so its not suprising that it hang

Skype is for voip. you make calls using it. Personally i've not use it, but the concept is, lets say u're connected on wifi, you should be able to use your phone to login to skype and call ur other skype friends. so basically its free.

of all the times ive transferred files to my previous and current phones via USB cable ive NEVER had that accept thing come out man...

even if its bluetooth oso just add to my devices and kowtim..no need press accept liao....



and of all the things...was rushing to work today forgot to bring the USB adaptor to the office
