Can we like list out those shops that's demanding for extra charges for different colors? Atleast we can have a heads up, and know where to go, and where not to go

does this really comes with GPS or just A-GPS? Contradicting infos on several websites and shops I visited. Even the brochure stated A-GPS only.
p/s: Sorry quite scared since I was duped into buying n81 because the dealer told me it got GPS. End up buying n82 and still using the n81 because the trade in price dropped half the next day after I bought it |

Just to share: When I went to buy my C905 in Singapore, the man told me that the white one cost about S$30 more than the black one. No reason was given.

The shop trying to sell the silver (not white) as limited edition or something for more money. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Feb 5 2009, 07:09 PM |

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Feb 5 2009, 02:05 PM) Lim47. It seems that once he connects to the wireless at home with his C905 he cannot browse internet and it ask him to contact operator for support. oh~ i got that prob once. I think the if ur using the default internet browser that comes with the phone, than it needs to connect to the internet using ur operator. So i used opera mini instead, it switch on my wifi and it will automatically use the wifi to online instead of operator. I dont know if this helps.. ^__^ but it works for me...Anyway this looks like a problem with his wireless router settings since he can browse internet in those free wifi hotspots with the C905. Anyway think he better ask in the Networks and Broadband thread for help. http://forum.lowyat.net/NetworksandBroadband Added on February 5, 2009, 9:04 pm QUOTE(lim47 @ Feb 5 2009, 06:47 PM) Yupz.. definitely comes with GPS~ i used it very often when i go travelling~ kinda coolz to see ur exact position on the phone (birds eye view summore).. hahhaaThis post has been edited by mnpl: Feb 5 2009, 09:04 PM |

The shop trying to sell the silver (not white) as limited edition or something for more money. Oops, my bad. I think you hit the nail on the head ... It certainly struck me as odd. I remembered asking the sales assistant why, and he gave no definitive answer. Not to mention that the silver one was heavily advertised all over the shop, and there was no mention of the black one at all. Most peculiar. I didn't buy mine from that particular store, however: the black ones were all out of stock. This post has been edited by equustel: Feb 5 2009, 11:15 PM |

Went for a conference/forum at Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa today. Breakfast, Lunch, Tea and Dinner provided
Nice place - can't believe I've never taken the initiative to have a look even though I used to work in Cyberjaya for 4 1/2 years! Here are some pics I took - not a professional, just a point & shoot kinda guy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Bigfoot-X: Feb 5 2009, 11:56 PM |
