I'm too tired and lazy to comment on the results. It already spoke for itself. One mistake, that's it.

It seemed to me like Aurelio - a professional player of the highest level, was too afraid to put his head on the line to clear the ball. What, was he afraid that it might mess up his hair or what?

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jan 20 2009, 05:59 AM) Not entirely I would say. That was a clear penalty we should get when Torres get bullied in the box... I wouldn't say it's totally unacceptable but fair result. How many times Torres choose to move the ball towards defenders rather than pass to team mates? How frustrated when Keane standing beside him? When you are leading in this type of game by narrow score it's either kill it off or defend harder. Neither we achieved. |

The golden chance in the 1st half was wasted because of Torres' selfish display or I m not sure whether he noticed Keane around with 2 defenders blocking him.. somebody tell benitez, he is NEVER gonna win the EPL by playing safe. Top teams do not withdraw BOTH strikers in a must win HOME game EVER. It just puts unnecessary pressure on the defence, and they crumble.
We still might win it, but its going to be down to a lot of luck and maybe a few more kidney stones for Benitez. |

Anyway, rafa had been playing safe of lately by withdrawing strikers and put in midfielders and we failed to get points... I don't blame rafa. He did his job alright. It was just a moment of "relak" in the liverpool defence. If Skrtel had just marked that aussie....everything would have been different.

It's a good game until Gerrard scored. Then it's became so lame that I knew Everton gonna pick up something from our carelessness. And it's always Cahill who done it so many times before, savaging and being savior of the day. 75minutes and we already played time wasting like bottom team always done? And sub both our strikers? It's stupid.
Gerrard goal was great but Cahill equalizer was clever. He sneak in front at the right time and put us stunned.. And why both fans so quiet today? Snow stuffed their mouths? So cold to the bone and shivering to shut their brain control? Btw, my premonition came true at the end.. United, you may laugh today but it's us who'll be laughing on May. |

The funny thing is Skrtel was angry over Cahill and almost started a fight with him but he tend to treat him like an invisible man.. omfg!!! No one mark him at all...Holy crap! |

If Skrtel was marking another player, then it of course can be excused, but Skrtel wasn't marking anyone (as far as i could see) so it's pretty disappointing. It's alright, our lil' gangsta' will be around doing the job for us next well.
