I think that I shall ask my international student advisor tomorrow in my school and see what they say . I'm still thinking of the course to see which is better off for me because this is a very hard selection and requires a lot of hassle if  I want to change it .

the best is to speak to the faculty, intl are just dealing with intl stuff. nothing more. sweat.gif

is that true? from wat i heard RMiT is more to commerce/humanities no? Heck, Melbourne U doesnt even offer the course i hope to do.
Since my bro is planning to buy a house in Melb asap i dont wish to spend too much on accommodation by doing my course in Sydney/Adelaide etc.  Hons in Aus/NZ is normally offered to top-notch students?

Well i'm sure you will be able to slowly catch up on experience once u have maximum qualification. These days aint it tough to even find a job with bachelors only?

erm well MYR i reckon. will ask him when i see him. he had actually rejected the offer to work for a SouthAfrican airline eventhough that certainly would guarantee good money and prospect, career-wise. Doncha think malaysia lack engineers in this type of fields? hmm.gif

msia is always lack of everything. We had oversupply of bach. degree people who cant work a things out in order? unsure.gif

QUOTE(haya @ Jul 4 2009, 01:25 PM)
Malaysian ministers are never quoted well in media reports, usually due to the 4th floor boys.

The quarantine is self enforcement. The idea is that on return from Australia to Malaysia, you don't pass the H1N1 virus to your char kueh tiaw man, the petrol pump attendant, the checkout girl, the cybercafe boss, and everyone else in between. Stay at home for 7 days upon return, and if you show any signs of flu, fever et al, go to the nearest medical facility.

The Ministry of Health has a very good page for all this. Its largely in BM, but I hope that our education system has not failed THAT badly.

No one is going to check up on you that you quarantine your self, there is no actual punishment if you go to the shopping mall and infect everyone in the food court, but I think we would love it if you dont. The quarantine measures for returning students is purely self enforcement.

Probably an alien concept for Asians who need a gun pointed at their head before they follow any authority. But think of the bigger picture eh?

I'm just on my 3rd day here, so yeah technically first month. My mistake was rushing into this.. but then again I didn't predict that I wouldn't be able to finish my semesters here.
That's actually an idea.. gotta look for someone I guess. But since I'm on direct debit, won't it continuously debit from my bank account (which I'd be closing when I leave Australia), and not my friend's?

hey guys,is it worth to buy a bicycle in perth??like hanging around the town...
*
no, bicycle is good if you live short range. Car is more feasible, get the 2nd hand good condition.even start investment is big, the return is more worth. Well i tot PT is good thr?

QUOTE(adrian7386 @ Jul 10 2009, 11:23 PM)
oh...my area is around cottesloe...i am wondering can we cycle at the pedestrian path??
*
well, depends on the local law, maybe you can maybe u cant. Its pretty dangerous also with car reversing.

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jul 10 2009, 11:25 PM)
but bicycle not cheap though..don't think the price same like malaysia
*
Bicycle here seriously are over price. production only 10% of the price, you pay the rest 90% for a stuff which is same price if you get it overseas. depends on the bike you prefer.

QUOTE(adrian7386 @ Jul 10 2009, 11:27 PM)
yeah i found out the price is quite high...im considering one which cost 999 dolars plus helmet,lights...i have to tight my stomach for a week....T.T...is helmet is a must in australia for cycling??cause i saw everyone using it...lol
*
everyone using it= do consider them as serious cyclist. Its people who really into bicycle & there is track for it. icon_idea.gif
