Edifier M2300 user here

I didn't know the Klipsch GMX 2.1 was such a good speaker until I tried others I went to Aego M, some Hifi bookshelf speakers then now Edifier R1900T3. I wanted to get Z-5500 but it's just plain noisy and SQ/clarity is horrible. Since I'm into music more than anything else, I've decided to pick the Edifier after I listened to it

i think z-5500 is better for movie~i oso think it's SQ/clarity is horrible~~after i tried at my fren's house~5.1 is not suitable for music tho~my target is z-2300 now~

Z-2300 is good and I would've got that instead of this Edifier but unfortunately Logitech has stopped making it. Z-623 is the new successor and it sounds like crap. Most of the PC speakers are just plain noisy and a lot of bass. It doesn't provide good clarity

Which shop? As far as I know, they ran out of it. They have it on demo but no new stocks.

oh,really?i think is viewnet theHUB~or i saw it wrongly?treat z-5500 as z-2300? the box is almost same size~

Klipsch GMX 2.1. Got it early this year at ALL IT at promo price of RM2XX. Damn good deal. Hooked it up to my media player connected to 52" plasma. Best value speakers.

Yes, I know Mr. Bong No more Z-5500 in Sri Computers, Viewnet, ALL-IT. I've asked around before going for this Edifier.

I owned a Aego M and i would like to hear some opinion from you.

I'm using altec lansing XA3021 for more than 5 years now.
Sounds really good and working perfectly. But the wire is loose now so from time to time need to tighten it, else only one speaker will sound

so far, i've only managed to use few computer multimedia speaker.. and all are old-skool. My preference in descending order:
(1) Harman Kardon champagne (2.1)
(2) Altec-Lansing ACS54 (4.1)
(3) Dell OEM (comes as computer bundle) (2.1)

.
(n) Sonic Gear Ego3 (2.1)

anyone knows about Boston speaker? i owned them long time ago, Model BA635, was thinking if anyone knows about them.

For some unknown reason, i seems to prefer the older Promedia 2.1 more than GMX, but it is no where to be found in malaysia anymore.. The last time i've seen and heard them is on 2002, belongs to my ex-housemate, and i believe its a specially ordered unit, and running on a step down transformer..

Guys i have a problem and i hope that you sifus can help me.

I'm currently using Altec Lansing ADA880. When i watch movie on my pc, the sound effect like bombing or gun shooting always seems very loud, but when the actor starting to speak or converse the sound is so soft. Hardly can hear what they are saying until i turn on the volume on my speakers, but that's a mistake as well because if the movie suddenly very explosive and all, everyone in the house can hear...

So any solution for me? Is it movie quality? Mostly the movies i watch are dvd quality. or is it my speakers?
