I'd say Klipsch Promedia GMX 2.1. If you're someone that loves to have some bass, forget about Aego M, it's just over-rated in my opinion and I was deeply disappointed with it

QUOTE(chenhui87 @ Apr 7 2011, 04:24 PM) i think z-5500 is better for movie~i oso think it's SQ/clarity is horrible~~after i tried at my fren's house~5.1 is not suitable for music tho~my target is z-2300 now~ Z-2300 is good and I would've got that instead of this Edifier but unfortunately Logitech has stopped making it. Z-623 is the new successor and it sounds like crap. Most of the PC speakers are just plain noisy and a lot of bass. It doesn't provide good clarity |

Got it early this year at ALL IT at promo price of RM2XX. Damn good deal. Hooked it up to my media player connected to 52" plasma. Best value speakers. It is indeed a great set of speakers. If you don't like it anymore, please sell to me |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Apr 7 2011, 09:04 PM) bro clawhammer, Hmm... anything wrong that made you switch to Edifier R1900T3 from Aego M ? Aego M is fine but to be honest, the bass is too soft. It's literally like a 2.0 and sounds too sharp. Personally, I feel that it's an over-rated set of speakers. I changed from Aego M to bookshelf speakers powered by an amp. After a while I find it's too bulky hence I sold it off for R1900T3.I owned a Aego M and i would like to hear some opinion from you. QUOTE(kevin613 @ Apr 9 2011, 07:50 AM) For some unknown reason, i seems to prefer the older Promedia 2.1 more than GMX, but it is no where to be found in malaysia anymore.. The last time i've seen and heard them is on 2002, belongs to my ex-housemate, and i believe its a specially ordered unit, and running on a step down transformer.. Never tried the 2.1 but only owned the GMX 2.1 and it's by far the best 2.1 setup speakers for PC I've experienced so far http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/prom...specifications/ |
