Altec 45.1 one of their legendary speaker 10years back. Gave to ppl when moving house.
Altec v4121 damn lousy half year low usage left speaker doesnt work at all. Been using Edifier s4.1 for nearly 4-5 years. Still solid and charm. Bass is there when it required. I don't like those subs woofer just keep boom boom boom So I choose Edifier  Klipsch pro media 2.1 is good but not within my budget last time. Now hard to get klipsch products around kl |

Using M3200 2:1 and I have to say worth every cent spent. |

i only have altec lansing...so comparatively to my previous speaker...this one is good to me...
but i sort peace person...so the loud sound is a nuisance to me... |

I'm still using my '97 Aiwa TS-CD20 2.1 speakers. I don't know if it is the best, but I like it.
