not scare u la,

i think u wana cycle along the river, then cross the bridge, use the pedestrian overhead to walk to MV, that should be fine kua.....

the road along the river at the abd hukim side, i think the traffic is a bit slow ,
but on the mv side the cars are very fast.

Yeap. I'm taking that road, but the mid valley side i guess i won't be affected as the only roads will be the boulevard road and the garden hotel road. There the cars are quite pedestrian friendly. Use the pedestrian bridge, climb up 1 flight of stairs only. then it comes out on the garden hotel lobby area i think. Cycle down, and pass byperodus on south boulevard and straight to my office on tower 51. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hopefully everything will be ok. unsure.gif unsure.gif

I'm picking up my bike next Monday. Getting slim tires on first. laugh.gif Excited also a bit. Some times like this la. Road too many cars scared kena bang by car, road not a lot of cars, scared kena rob by people. rclxub.gif

H2D u work in MV area also?

yep, it should be ok,
just be careful along the construction site by the river. the road is narrow, but i think traffic is slow.

i used to work in bangsar, so for over 10 years i round MV twice a day to work n back.

actually now that you mention, that day the cars there drove quite fast as well near the construction area. I'm lighting up my bike like a xmas tree with all the bling bling i can put on in broad day light. Hopefully they brake when they see me. Also worried about the new rempits around the area i saw when i was surveying that area. But i already bought a can of mace to be mounted on my bike just in case. sweat.gif

so far i'm quite satisfied with my dahon mu p8. one thing bothers me though, the handlepost i really need to fasten tightly if not, the handlebars are not really 90 degrees against the front wheel (still got a little room to move around). sometimes drop into potholes, the handlebars "shifted" a bit sad.gif

Hi,
I have a Tern D8. When I ride in with the smallest two cog (gear 7,8), I can feel a "grinding" sensation on my legs. This is very obvious when I switch from gear 6 to 7,8.

Does anyone have the same experience and how do u resolve it ?

@achok - correct in Segambut

Used Japan folding bike? Better take a good close look before you buy. Was adviced against a used bike from a forum elsewhere.

@tararan - Raleigh Ugo quite affordable, can get for around seven fifty if you shop around
