first u hv to c the route u gona ride, is it very tough if u only have single gear,
cos small folding bike mostly dun have gears.

would u mind riding small wheel bike like this carry me? strida...?
can get it here

http://gwcycle.blogspot.com/2010/10/8-taiw...um-folding.html

depends on situation, sometimes walking is more feasible n relaxing, also u can't hold an umbrella when it rains on a bicycle....

You should invest in a good bag and pop your 12.5" bike in and carry it like a normal bag. don't think they can say anything to stop you from LRT. You can try a 14" foldie--http://www.mudah.my/14Inc+CLASSIC+Folding+Bike+Bicycle-14196830.htm

I went to GW bikes today. Friendly bunch of people over there.

I have my eye on the Dahon Broadwalk (Rm1299) Is that a good price? Anymore shops that i can look at more bikes around that price range?

Yeap, but i think that the boardwalk wheel size is ok. As long as it can fit into the carry bag for me to bring it on the LRT. My concern is that i'll reach the LRT usually at 7.15am which is considered peak hours. And leave at around 5pm-5.30pm from bangsar. Which is also consider peak.

EDIT: When one rides the carry me, they look like a circus bear

Was doing the research a few days ago.

Cheapest Dahon if i'm not mistaken is the Broadwalk. Rm1299 at GW Cycles.
