Is it recommended to re-set ecu by taking out the -ve battery terminal and install back after we have changed to aftermarket 4-2-1 extractor?because o2sensor have relocated? is it necessary to do so?or just drive and let the ecu re-learn it back? my car 4g18 year 2002 at...hehe hope to get the answer here.... |

QUOTE(matt wee @ Sep 14 2009, 07:43 PM) There is no meaning of the O2 sensor relocation in ur case. As the matter of facts the O2 sensor is located at the middle of 4 flange of your standard extractor previously. In other words it's getting reading from all the 4's exhaust gas.Meanwhile I assume for your new 4-2-1 extractor, the relocation of O2 sensor is at the middle of 2-1 flange is merely allowing O2 sensor to collect data for all the 4's exhaust from the engine as well. So, it's the same right? |

QUOTE(matt wee @ Sep 15 2009, 02:05 PM) No, u have to look at the ECU label only can tell. The ECU is located nearby the firewall and behind HU or I should said laid nearby the places where u rest ur left foot on driver side. The mapping is different between these 2 ECU's |
