Halo any waja owner here..mind answer my question?hehe tongue.gif

Is it recommended to re-set ecu by taking out the -ve battery terminal and install back after we have changed to aftermarket 4-2-1 extractor?because o2sensor have relocated?

is it necessary to do so?or just drive and let the ecu re-learn it back?

my car 4g18 year 2002 at...hehe

hope to get the answer here....

There is no meaning of the O2 sensor relocation in ur case. As the matter of facts the O2 sensor is located at the middle of 4 flange of your standard extractor previously. In other words it's getting reading from all the 4's exhaust gas.

Meanwhile I assume for your new 4-2-1 extractor, the relocation of O2 sensor is at the middle of 2-1 flange is merely allowing O2 sensor to collect data for all the 4's exhaust from the engine as well. So, it's the same right?

If you always driving on city, get year 2004-2005, mostly this year model using Mitsubishi engine.
For RM30k, i think you can get year 2004 model.

Could be also. Got one of my uncle's friend that his ECU was fried. Then found out the replacement part is VDO.

No, u have to look at the ECU label only can tell. The ECU is located nearby the firewall and behind HU or I should said laid nearby the places where u rest ur left foot on driver side.

The mapping is different between these 2 ECU's
