IMHO from your problem the steering "tak tak" or "krek krek" sound and off centred is from the damaged steering mounting bush...u can get it replaced at 40+ per side but there are 2 bush...bush itself is cheap, only 5/ pcs but due to workmanship.
If u get it done, ask yr mech to make it "tighter" by putting extra layer of rubber hose..my mech add a layer of timing belt which he said even better... last longer...
but if it is "ktak ktak" sound then its different matter altogether...means yr driveshaft already kong....
hope this helps...

Drop-in air filter very easy maa...u can just do it by yourself....open-up the filter box, take-out the old one & replace with new...plug & play... .......original K&N retailing around RM200-RM230 here in lowyat garage sales......

yup, have sent for servicing. have even changed to toyota oil when the original one wasn't showing improvement. i'm just afraid now that my gear's giving way, and would die on me soon...

That could be possible. Maybe you need to do extensive gearbox service. Might cost you RM1500.

damn, that's really expensive. what about changing to another reconditioned gearbox? how much would that cost? i guess changing to a new gearbox is totally out of the question. how come gearboxes are sooo expensive?
