wtf!! very pissed man.

Today I get my new waja cps, the car got so many problems.
1. dashboard the leather not fitted correctly can see foldings around the curve and the worst part is that there is hold in the fu*king dashboard leather. Failed QC and PDI.
Their solution: wait for proton offical to come check the car and then only see when to help me fix it

2. then inner trim panel on the passenger side have some paint peel off.

3. the triangle cover's color on both the back passenger door is totally washed out.
Their solution: spray black paint.

4. glove box/arm rested is very shaky like not fitted correct.
Their solution: check and say it is like that, cannot be fix. wtf?

5. the rear windscreen got alot of wash out mark (looks like kena rusty water). Cannot be remove via normal wiping.
Their solution: polish and use solvent, clean most of it but still have some.

6. Exhaust pipe look rusted.
Their solution: nothing they can do. wtf?

Really disappointed with proton. Now want to apply tint also cannot, coz have to wait for them to fix my dashboard first.

I will never buy another god damn muthafarking proton. First and last.

I had the same problem last week and the cause was traced to a faulty fuel pump.Cost RM420 to replace(parts and labour) .

My Waja already coming to six year.2003 manual with Mitsubishi engine.

I kena ketuk liao ?  somemore my regular workshop and maintain all our three family cars.
On second thought,that fellow come to my house to fix and he has to come twice,first time to check and second time to bring and fix the pump.
So RM60 for the workmanship still ok lah

This taiwan one seems to be abit powerful. or is it a placebo effect?
or maybe my old pump worked its ass off and now being a retard.
the name of the taiwan one is konsei or sometihng like that.
anyway, i jus hope this dont die on me in a couple of days.

Hi guys,

I would like to ask. Proton waja cps is there any need to wait for any off the checking lights to go off first before you start your engine.

As I remember my old wira, it is recommended to start the car's engine after the check engine light goes off.

Is there such rules in waja cps because I had waited for the check engine lights to goes off but it doesn't no maater how long I waited.

or is there any other lights I need to check? Because I can't find anything in the manual that says I need to wait.

just bought a 2003 Waja 4g18 AT from my brother..

I have been reading around and was wondering if anyone can help make my mind up

I was thinking of changing the air filter to the open pod apexi dual funnel intake, has anyone done that?

How is the noise level? How much more fuel does it use? Is it worth it?

my car is currently fully stock still lol.

Anyone here using Imitation Mugen twin loop muffler? How's the sound like compared to a straight flow and a s-flow muffler?

Open pod is good if you done a proper shielding to avoid sucking hot air and remove some restriction (like cat con) on exhaust.

S-flow have longer path to exit from our exhaust system, therefore it give our engine a little hard work to push the exhaust gas out. Due to that we can feel the car are more responsive and it's good for auto especially where it will down shift the gear faster.

Straight flow provide faster escape of exhaust gas and it will cause lagging if the engine itself has not enough horsie.

for good sake, save your hard earn $ on Voltage stabilizer, it give's no improvement in engine performance. Use that $ for lighten crank pulley instead.

Ya...My car idle really gila right now... When aircond turned on, engines won't died... But the rev go down... And go up...  I face this problem when cold start ( aircond idle goes up and down is all the time no matter cold or hot)... Cold start sure engine died... Its start but the rpm will drop until died... And I press the oil pedal... Weird that if I ram it to over 3.5k then release, it will died again... This will not happen if you ram with rpm not over 3k... This condition happened when cold start... New TB that I asked from spare part shop cost 800++ and without warranty...
