QUOTE(lucifah @ Jun 4 2009, 10:37 PM) still the same... nothing concerns the size. bigger sized tyres means more air will go in to achieve the same pressure 29-30psi all round for typical use i'm running 32. the car "feels" lighter - albeit bumpier. also, i'm on new wheels, since i banged my old OEM waja wheels badly a few times over small potholes at high speed. hence the higher tyre pressure Which part of road did you hit the portholes? I just back from Serian. Saw a quite big porthole nearby Police Tower at Kuching-Serian Highway. Afraid going to be like at Malacca, big holes caused by pipe leaking..

QUOTE(lucifah @ Jun 5 2009, 06:23 PM) selangau to tatau big potholes. most of them i could swerve, but when there's an incoming bus or truck, u got no choice... plus the massive land slides early this year I see..lot's of landslide now at Sarawak road...maybe cause of big flood last time.. My travel most further just only to Simunjan. Not much portholes there. Just before Gedong junction there's upgrading of roads, only bumpy rides.

Hi Aurora..good luck on your findings. On finding the good place to service is actually based on yourself. Since you're nearby PJ ask people around you that you feel the best to do servicing. I did service my car at Glenmarie, did brought a forumner here also to my friend's place and he looks satisfied with it.

QUOTE(uncle_ben @ Jun 11 2009, 03:18 PM) Dear all, My waja is giving me problems with electrics. Everytime I flick the signal light, my dashboard meters start to 'dance'. It goes on and off, following the timing of the signal's blink. I have sent this to authorised proton service center. But those idiots told me they couldn't identify the root cause of the problem. Can anyone help me? Like you know the solution to this problem? or Know any mechanic/electrician that is good at identifying the root cause of this problem? It would be best if the mechanic is around KL/Selangor or Seremban. Gosh, true deep problems. Has your car ever involved in accidents before? Maybe can give a visit to Proton service agents, I know one place at Serdang Raya at road from Astro to Sri Kembangan town.

QUOTE(lucifah @ Jun 13 2009, 12:20 AM) i plan to smoke my headlamps too, but wondering how it will affect the light intensity esp at night since the chrome reflector does the job of reflecting and concetrating the lights from the bulbs towards, what happens if it's smoked? edit: can you also show us how you pry open the lamps? and do they get foggy (water vapor) since? I think he did show us in this topics. Added on June 13, 2009, 10:37 amOoops..mao2 the one..sorry QUOTE(mao2 @ May 17 2009, 09:25 PM) This post has been edited by b48753: Jun 13 2009, 10:37 AM

QUOTE(mao2 @ Jun 15 2009, 05:41 PM) izzit really coming from the mounting.. coz.. i also got 1 of the mounting already kong.. so resulting having vibration on the meter panel, key slot, etc. Not sure, but since the car is almost 5 years better to change the mountings. QUOTE(nairud @ Jun 17 2009, 04:35 PM) damnit, my open pod filter thread size is 80mm and i cant find a good silicon hose to connect it to my throttle body. even the stock air intake duct thread size is smaller than the filter's. What kinda open pod you're using? I think normal accessories shop did sell the adaptor.

QUOTE(termignoni @ Jun 18 2009, 08:13 PM) today i followed a friend to send his CPS Waja for servicing at the Proton SC.. we went with 2 cars.. while waiting for him to register, i went into the showroom to look around.. then a salesgirl came, and i gatal2 ask her how much would they take my '03 Waja (A) for trade-in.. she took out a file, glanced at it, took out a calculator, and showed me RM34k.. damn.. that's pretty high!!! and there's an RM3k discount lagi for the Waja CPS.. p/s : i also asked her the trade-in price for my '05 Gen2 (A) H-Line, RM22k is the price they are offering.. my god the depreciation of the Gen-2 is phenomenal.. Good deals...but so sad Waja CPS got speed cut now, not like previous engine

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Jun 19 2009, 10:12 AM) alot of ppl commented the simolta have good air flow and I agree with that as the filter have lots of holes. Take 1 unit and see under the lights, u'll be able to see a ball pen size hole all over the filter. Erm..looks like will make the throttle body easy to get dirtier.. For me Apexi is the best, just the matter they doesn't have drop-in type. So in that case K&N is my only options for drop-in filters.
