i'm running 32. the car "feels" lighter - albeit bumpier. also, i'm on new wheels, since i banged my old OEM waja wheels badly a few times over small potholes at high speed. hence the higher tyre pressure

Dear all,
My waja is giving me problems with electrics.
Everytime I flick the signal light, my dashboard meters start to 'dance'.
It goes on and off, following the timing of the signal's blink.
I have sent this to authorised proton service center.
But those idiots told me they couldn't identify the root cause of the problem.

Can anyone help me?
Like you know the solution to this problem? or
Know any mechanic/electrician that is good at identifying the root cause of this problem?

It would be best if the mechanic is around KL/Selangor or Seremban.

just wondering, proton waja 2003 premium uses what type of engine?

i plan to smoke my headlamps too, but wondering how it will affect the light intensity esp at night

since the chrome reflector does the job of reflecting and concetrating the lights from the bulbs towards, what happens if it's smoked?

edit: can you also show us how you pry open the lamps? and do they get foggy (water vapor) since?

hmm.. i think its still ok.. just that my steering bush already kong.. this happened b4 i change to R3 springs.. the bush kong due to using 17" rims 
anyway.. the recent problem i'm having is my 4 years old stock abs is at it end of its journey.. so planning to change.. this 1 i can say its due to using sports springs.. hehehe

izzit really coming from the mounting.. coz.. i also got 1 of the mounting already kong.. so resulting having vibration on the meter panel, key slot, etc.   

damnit, my open pod filter thread size is 80mm and i cant find a good silicon hose to connect it to my throttle body.

even the stock air intake duct thread size is smaller than the filter's.

My friend had that problem due to the 'imitation' oil filter. 

today i followed a friend to send his CPS Waja for servicing at the Proton SC.. we went with 2 cars.. while waiting for him to register, i went into the showroom to look around..

then a salesgirl came, and i gatal2 ask her how much would they take my '03 Waja (A) for trade-in.. she took out a file, glanced at it, took out a calculator, and showed me RM34k.. damn.. that's pretty high!!! and there's an RM3k discount lagi for the Waja CPS..
p/s : i also asked her the trade-in price for my '05 Gen2 (A) H-Line, RM22k is the price they are offering.. my god the depreciation of the Gen-2 is phenomenal.. 

alot of ppl commented the simolta have good air flow and I agree with that as the filter have lots of holes. Take 1 unit and see under the lights, u'll be able to see a ball pen size hole all over the filter.

Yeah, after that the RPM climbed very slowly, even when going downhill...
